So my radiator got a * fissure * in it and i tried to find a radiator repair place on citysearch . . . ended up at a radiator wholesaler. But it was not all for naught, as i bought my radiator there (woo no markup!), and then they recommended Ed`s for good, honest service (as a girl and new to the city, i think they took pity upon me) - and i think they were spot-on. Cost 250 total to have my radiator replaced (min... view moree is plastic so there`s no welding involved), when better than half of that was for the part. - UPDATE - It`s been over a year now since i posted this, and now i know why my repairs were so cheap. turns out they didn`t use the hose intended for my car - which, one year later, caused the hose to balloon and my engine to start overheating again - and another $60 to have someone else put the CORRECT hose on. guess i`ll keep on looking for an honest AND good repair shop.
