Poor Customer Service

I would think twice about purchasing a vehicle from M & K Auto in Granite City, Illinois. I traded my vehicle for a vehicle on M & K`s lot on Saturday, December 3. When I drove it work on Monday, December 5, I noticed the transmission shifted hard so I calle M & K immediately to let them know I was having a problem. I then took the car to Auto Evaluators and was told the transmission needed to be replaced and the cos... view moret would be around $4,000. I tried to contact the owner to find out how he could help me, and did not receive a call back until I contacted the BBB. He was very polite, but told me there was nothing he could do except contact a mechanic to see what my options were. I told him that wasn`t enough that I either wanted him to pay for the repair, give me a different car, or trade me back for my old car. He told me the best he could do was contact a mechanic and get back with me.
