Gary and his assistant Sandi Hendricks opened for business April 7, 1988. Gary had been working at a car dealership at the same location since 1961 when he was twelve years old in 1961! Gary retains many of the same clients or the family members of the same clients he dealt with since the 1960s."Thankfully I was trained in this business by a very unique used car man. It has proven to very successful for him. Gary is the only independent auto dealer in Rockford to have won the coveted "1999 State of Illinois Quality Dealer of the Year" and the same year was a nominee for the "National Quality Dealer of the Year" by the Illinois Independent Dealer Association. What is the most important is that very soon he will have been selling cars for the same location for over Fifty-Years!
