Nobody came close to the rates they offered for there rental Jeeps.

At first I was very sceptical about renting from this small rental company for two weeks. But once we landed in Maui after a few long flights from Montreal, they where very welcoming and helpful.
About the vehicle, it was not a brand new vehicle, but the Jeep (2004) was in extremely good shape, some scratches and small dents. Hey even better for me ""less to worry about"". Pick up and drop off was a breeze. Everyo... view morene in the rental office was very nice, I couldn`t have done it any better. We had the top down pretty much everyday, even took the doors off a couple of times.
All in all, this was probably the best vehicle rental I`ve ever done. They are very pleasant. Mostly when you arrive you are not a number walking into the door.

Great to support local business

I am a life long customer of Maui Car Rentals and recommend the agency to all friends and relatives. It nice to be treated like family in a place (Maui) where personalized service is lessening!

They are like family

I have never written a review before but I am compelled to write this one, I had an auto accident last month and, since it was my first one I was upset and just a bit scared. I am a homecare nurse and without a vehicle I can not work so this accident, although thank goodness no one was hurt, was devastating to me. I called Maui rentals ( No Ka Oi Motors) and was assured that I could get a rental, they gave me a car... view more for a good rental price, answered all my questions, offered sympathy, information and calmed my frazzled nerves. When the insurance totaled my car and I looked for another one, they were right there assisting me, making it easy and painless with no pressure. Mike and Rick are so sweet and helpful and I am so lucky I called them when the accident happened. They took care of me like family!

Worst Car Rental on Maui

Kali?I Oliveira at Maui Car Rentals, Inc. (aka No Ka Oi Motors) has got to be the rudest person I have dealt with on Maui. We get that the cars are older (and therefore supposedly cheaper to rent) but the only discount you`ll get is on common courtesy and professionalism. Kali`i was unnecessarily incredibly rude to us when we tried to sort out an extension of our car rental, which we had already confirmed twice. It was apparent from his attitude that he no longer needed us and therefore did not feel the need to be courteous (or truthful for that matter ? three different people were told that the extension was confirmed). Worse, he didn?t care that the car we rented was literally falling apart. His mistake was thinking that we were just tourists. Go to Dollar. You will get a better attitude and a better deal for a newer, cleaner car in perfect working order.
