I would NOT recommend anyone patronize this business. I had my car towed there b/c it overheated & wouldn`t start. They claimed to have done a diagnostic & determined that it was the starter module. They stated the repair would be $204. I ok`d them to complete the repairs. I picked the vehicle up Thursday evening only to have it start to smoke a mile from my house THE VERY NEXT DAY! I was only a half mile fro... view morem their mechanic shop so I brought the car back to them. They then said it was the heater core which would be $801 for complete repair OR they could just clamp the hose (aka do a bypass) for $50. I chose the latter. Once complete (but before I could leave), the car, once again, would not start!!! They took a quick look at it and said that I actually needed a new motor/engine and that it would cost me more than the car was worth to repair it. I then requested the $204 I had just spent with them the day before since they had diagnosed the original issue as the starter module when it was actually the motor but THEY REFUSED TO REFUND MY MONEY. This is a shady business & the mechanics are sub par who seem to rely on guess work rather than expertise, in the end costing the consumer a lot of money for nothing in return. I feel violated & taken advantage of. If you care about your money and receiving quality work, DO NOT USE WEST GEORGIA TIRE & AUTO.
