I took my truck here for ball ...

I took my truck here for ball joints. They said it`d probably be the next day before they could check it over. They called me back about a hour later with a LIST of things "wrong" with it. Brakes & discs were among these things. I do my own brakes and knew better. I told em forget it & got my truck back. It sat in my driveway for a year. By that time, I had to have it towed to another shop. They did... view more the ball joints and fuel system (by that time), and said my breaks were good, that I just had some rust that made a grinding sound. Some days later, grinding was worse. I took my brake off and to my surprise, the back pad was actually flipped around backwards! I don`t know if they did it or not, (I live up hill from the place so can`t say for sure it was them), But odds are against em. And no, I`m not going back to the other place since they gave my truck back with a grinding noise and not checking into it. Now, I did turn my truck in to em before that for a clutch and they did what appears so far to be a decent job. Maybe it depends on who does the job? I don`t know, but I`m not going back to them mainly for the simple fact they wouldn`t work with me on JUST the BALL JOINTS. Good luck if you still want to take your vehicle here.

Wrong Part

I took my VW to Hyde`s a year ago and they put in the wrong part! My car only recently started having problems. After taking it to the dealership, I found out that they had put in the wrong part and all my other problems were related to that one WRONG part. Since I didn`t contact them with 6 months, they will not cover my repair costs- $1000+.
