Just imagine a junkyard designed by Tim Burton and this is the place. It is metaphorically poised within spitting distance of a huge gasoline tank farm (from which all the dead hulks had drank) and aslo sublimely located cat-a-corner of a Golf Course. Very very crazy. Zoning from Hell. Burton couldn`t come up with a better cross fade! All the counter service guys have requisite tattoos and scruffy facial hair. ... view moreThe doorway into the office has sunk into the yard and the entire place is littered with detritus and engine blocks from several centuries of discard. They allow you to wander and dream. Very few yards allow that these days. It is worth a stop, even if you don`t need parts. Watch out for the guy under the lift with a blowtorch though, he looked like he enjoyed his work a little too much. A place you have to visit at least once. Ranks up there with Rock City, IMO. Free Admission.
