A Tow, Inc. was founded nearly 50 years ago when Val J. Porter discovered he could launch a company to provide the answer to the towing needs for his service station. Starting with only one truck and his wife by his side, his humble beginnings developed into a corporation operated and managed by his four children. A Tow has nearly 100 employees, over 40 truck fleet, in-house fleet maintenance and the most efficient dispatching system in the metro Atlanta area. A Tow is a member of the Community Associations Institute and the Atlanta Apartment Association to support the homeowner???‚¬?„?s, board members and management companies with their towing needs. We meet with various groups of people to listen to the needs of their community and suggest solutions that may help. A Tow provides education, as well, so the public understands their obligations and our limitations as an industry. The towing industry is regulated by the Georgia Public Service Commission setting the standards by which we can operate. A Tow is a member of the Towing Association of Georgia, Midtown Alliance, Parking Association of Georgia, and the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce so we are intimately involved with the developments that are happenings around the greater metro Atlanta and the surrounding areas. We are also involved with the laws and ordinances that govern the towing industry.? ?
