Outstanding Customer Service

My husband and I were out running errands when we decided to get our oil changed. We pulled up at Express literally 5 minutes before they were closing. The manager, Chris, said they would be happy to service our vehicle. We were the last car there and all the staff were very friendly, no one complained about having to stay a little longer. Just wanted to let you know that I started coming to Carrollton store on the urging of another customer. I usually pay less at WalMart for a synthetic oil change but I went to check you out anyway. The man who helped me was very nice the first time, we talked about price and service. He asked me to please visit again and to make sure to come on Tuesdays for Ladies Day and it would be just like going to WalMart but... view more faster and same price with Ladies Day discount. So when it was time for my oil change this week, I went on Tuesday but ended up paying more and waiting much more than the 10 minutes for the oil change from start to finish. When I asked why it was more and did I get the Ladies Day discount, I was told I did not ask for it. I was completely shocked at the lack of respect for one, he could see that I was in fact a lady. Two, the lack of customer service. There were 2 other ladies in the other bays there, didnt it occur to anyone we might all be there for "LADIES DAY". I told him i thought that was wrong not to have given it to me, he said only "sorry". Never offered to refund and re ring my purchase. I told him good customer service brings people back and he still did nothing. With all the choices consumers have today in the area of car mtnce, i think you should train your employees to give the discount on Ladies Day when a Lady comes there on Tuesdays, dont treat us stupid and make us ask for it. If you want customers to come back, act like it. Dont do promotionals you dont intend on giving unless asked for, that`s just bad business.
