Quick and professional experience

I read the bad reviews on multiple sites, but had to get my emissions tested here anyway...I waited too long and had no other options before my deadline. So I went expecting the worst and actually had a good experience. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes (and the shop had 3 other clients when I pulled up.) All the other clients were out pretty quickly. The staff were welcoming and I heard them explain/demonstra... view morete all the things they did to the other clients` vehicles. They always asked if someone wanted a service and didn`t pressure the other clients. My emissions test cost $25 and I checked the national average...and it`s about $25. The staff treated me kindly, offered coffee, etc, and the service was quick which is what I was looking for. Maybe I just went on a good day, but my trip here was great. The guys were very nice and that means a lot to me.

Horrible! My vehicle is regist...

Horrible! My vehicle is registered in Fayette County so I had to pass emissions - the only place in Athens that does emissions is this JiffyLube. They charge 25.00 (last time I got emissions it was 16.00). They gave my two other charges for there "service" a 3.00 charge and a 1.00. I needed my tires rotated the manager said they could do quickly and a special price $10.00 as a 2 in 1 deal. They rang it up a... view mores $20.00 and claimed they never offered the lower price. Overall, a $35.00 visit ended up being $55.00 visit with multiple arguments. IT IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME!

These guys are idiots. I got my emissions inspected here and after telling them my car was made in 2000. They put 2001 on the form. I have to go back and get get it done all over again because of their incompetence. Avoid this place at all costs.
