By far the worst car dealership my husband or myself have ever dealt with. We found the car we wanted via an internet search and decided to travel the nearly four hours to take a look at after initial discussions with the salesperson over the phone and via email. Everything went well initially, though we found more fairly superficial flaws with the car than we were told about. We then found out that the electronics f... view moreor the driver side mirror didn`t work, that a back up sensor was missing, and one of the headlights and parking lights wasn`t working. None of this was told to us by the dealership, as we discovered it ourselves. They clearly did not do a thorough inspection of the car or even at least make sure that it would pass inspection by having a headlight that was in working order. Still, upon discovering all of the above we decided to purchase the car without any haggling on prices and bringing in a large cash down payment. We did receive however, what they call a "We Owe" to fix the headlight and at least look into the cost of service or repair to the driver`s side mirror. This, they assured us, was their promise to pay and have fixed the above issues. Before even making it to back to the interstate, for our nearly four hour drive home, the Check Engine light came on. We immediately called the dealership and they acted more than surprised and told us that they would have that looked into as well. Upon arriving back home, we made an appointment with our nearest Cadillac dealer to get the issues resolved that Horizon promised to take care of. Our local dealer had to call Horizon repeatedly to try to get in touch with someone who could "approve" the already approved "We Owe" that we were given. With no response back to our local dealer, my husband and I proceeded to call Horizon and were repeatedly given the run around by employees and the manager, who at one point tried to say that he didn`t know who we were. Two weeks later, and several more phone calls and empty promises, we still have not received a phone call back about getting our matters fixed, nor has either of the body shops that we had to refer to Horizon to do the work. All employees we spoke to and the manager alike, all promised and swore that they take care of all of their "We Owes." Well, that is clearly a lie and poor customer service. We have had to order the replacement headlights and get the check engine light fixed ourselves so that the car will even pass inspection. I will NEVER work with Horizon or any of its employees EVER again and will absolutely NOT refer anyone to buy any vehicles from them. We have been screwed over, lied to, and forced to deal with issues that were not to be our responsibility to have fixed. Horizon Cars is a horrible business with even worse business ethic, and terrible customer service.
