I was referred to Bob by a neighbor. Was not steered wrong, through troubleshooting videos on the internet I self diagnosed the problem as either the pressure plate or throw out bearing in the transmission of my 97 Honda Accord. Spoke with Bob who estimated the cost for this job to be just over $600. Told Bob that I would have car towed to his shop. When I called the shop to say the car was on it`s way, Bob said he a... view morelready had the part waiting(WOW). The shop further diagnosed the problem when the car arrived and as it turned out, the passenger side drive shaft had became disconnected, and the cost would be just over $200, saving me $400. If Bob France wasn;t an experienced, honest and most important ethical mechanic he could have charged me the $600 and then said by the way you need this $200 part also, I would never have known any differently.. Not only honest, but also quick service, the car was ready same day.
