After reading the reviews for this business, it was my reason for choosing it when needing a mobile mechanic. So many people wrote great reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was not the same. Since I was once a self-employed business owner myself, I know the importance of calling to &quot;touch bases&quot; with your potential customers, and making sure you`re on time for the services you offer. Mario/M&M Mobile Mechanic is a GODSEND!!!! Don`t allow any negative feedback that you read in these reviews, to keep you from calling him if/when you need any type of automobile repair! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and have their personal level of expectations (similar to a movie getting RAVE REVIEWS and you might think it stunk, or vice versa). So, moving right along with my own personal experience... view more with Mario and the service he provided... First, and foremost, he was very personable when we spoke on the telephone. We were disconnected, and he immediately called me back. Please note we were BOTH on cell phones! He arrived at my home exactly when he said he would... actually, he was EARLY! It was my roommate`s car that was having trouble, and it was the only source of transportation we had (since my truck had not been running since December due to a transmission problem). Mario checked the car and gave the exact diagnosis that my roomie had received from one of the local, well-known auto repair shops. However, the estimate he provided was a couple of hundred dollars LESS!!!!! He made some calls from the driveway, and off we went to purchase & pick up parts! I just want to note that along the way, he respectfully asked if I minded if he made a phone call. As it turns out, the phone call was a follow-up call to a customer he had repaired his vehicle a couple of days prior! That, to me, is GREAT BUSINESS! I, too, have been on the receiving end of Mario?ˆ™s follow-up phone calls?ˆ¦ NOT ONCE; BUT TWICE! After successfully repairing my roommate?ˆ™s car, and proving to be a very knowledgeable and cost-effective Professional, I wondered if he would be able to tackle a large and complicated job like repairing my truck?ˆ™s transmission! After receiving an extremely reasonable quote and the assurance that he can complete the job in one day?ˆ¦ I hired Mario less than a week later, to take on this huge task! And, just as he promised, it was completed the same day! I had neighbors that couldn?ˆ™t believe he could successfully tackle a job so big, right in my driveway! Great Job!

Mr. Matos did a super job on my taxi and my wife`s Chevy Cavalier. He even helped us save money on part. We had got a price on a fuel pump from a local parts store for $271.00 with tax. M&M got it for us for $ 175.00 that discount nearly covered our cost of labor. Mr.Matos goes above and beyond the call of duty when he commit to a job.

I am MORE than dissappointed in this company. If there is one thing a business MUST have, it`s CUSTOMER SERVICE. for people paying and people affected by your business. and i have to tell you this, there is NO SUCH THING at this business. HE MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE HELP THOSE WHO HAVE GAVE REVIEWS BEFORE OR AFTER THIS POST BUT THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE WITH HIS HONESTY AND EXPERTISE. I live in Port St. John and work in Orlando, Fl. My fuel pump in my truck went out. Desperate, I have to live in the motel, sleeping in the same clothes because I had no one here in Florida to help me and this is my only transportation. After crying, I went online to look for... view more a mechanic who can come to my truck, I found his name on the yellow pages and read all the wonderful news about Mario. Mario arrived with his tow truck which I had to pay $75.00 and took it to his storage unit which he also use to do his repairs (his labor cost was $175 and his price for the pump was $150). During this time, I had to rent cars, live in hotels, and drive back and forth to work. Mario completed the job VERY SLOWLY BECAUSE HE SAID THE HE CAN ONLY WORK ONE CAR AT A TIME. After that, the car BROKE DOWN AFTER A WEEK with the same problem and I went back to him again. HE SAID IT WAS NOT THE FUEL PUMP AND ADDED THE THE FUEL PUMP WAS WORKING CORRECTLY. HERE IS AN UPDATE OF MY XTERRA THAT MARIO WORKED ON: About 30 minutes ago, I just got off the phone with Willie, another mechanic who has SPENT ALL DAY, trying to replace the fuel pump on my Xterra that I BOUGHT FROM MARIO WHICH MARIO HAD REPLACED!!!!!! Willie from Frank`s Tire &amp; Auto Services just explained that the damage from the recently replaced fuel pump done by Mario was so extensive that he went through ALL THREE FUEL PUMPS and not to mention the electrical system!!! JUST CALLED MARIO TOLD HIM ABOUT FUEL PUMP AND HIS INFERIOR WORK THAT HE STUTTERED AND HUNG UP THE PHONE.

Fast, friendly, & honest

My battery died, and I was stranded. Mario just happened to be parked next to, & when he saw me, immediately offered to help. He made one phone call, & a new battery was on it`s way. He changed it for me right there in the parking lot. The cost was more than reasonable for the amazing & friendly service Mario provided. I will call him whenever I need a mechanic in the future.

Great Hearted and superior knowledge

It all started when the car was making a scraping noise from the breaks and i went to midas and they told me that both the break system needed to be replaced; the calipers, the roter and pads were bad and that they would charge me about 600 dollars to replace. So i took upon my self to do it but it was still expensive just to get the parts and since i have never had the need to get tools to take the tire off had to ... view morebuy all that stuff to so i went to the advance auto parts and was looking for someone to help me out to find out the right equipment to take the tire off. Just as i am entering the store this guy offers me his card i take it and put it in my pocket but i still determined to do it myself just to find that i wont be able to take off this tire unless i buy a part for the bolts that cost 80 a piece and i am short on money so the same guy who gave me his card offered me some assistance and he said he might have the part that the stores don`t have he actually did and offered me an amazing price and not to mention my girl friend and child are in the store still and he gets all the best parts for me and inspects the car himself saying i dont need everything replaced just the pads and roter because the calipers just needed to be pushed back in this guy basically saved my life because without that car i wouldnt be able to go to work bring my girl friend to school and work and bring our child to daycare. He was very understanding and knew how i felt his service was awesome and not to mention very swift and he also showed me how to do it myself if i was ever in need to do it my self. he did everything in less than 40 min when midas was talking bout doing it in 2-3 hours i am very great full and i am recommending his services to all i know who have car troubles that need to be fixed.

freeze plug rescue

My 95 Jimmy overheated and I was able to pullover at an auto parts store. I got some freeone and put it in and it came out as fast as it went in. So I was going to call a tow truck when Mario came up, gave me card and offered to look to at it. He was able to diagnose the problem, towed my vehicle to my house and did the work in my garage. He was more the fair on price, it was a very labor intensive job as the parts o... view morenly cost $25. but he had to drop the 4 wd transmission to replace the parts. I was so impressed I also had him do a couple other jobs on the truck as it needed the work. I would definitely recommend him as I already did to my brother ( he did a brake job and bearings on a 89 Chevy Silverado). Thanks Mario.
