As a single mom I am extremely frugal so sometimes when tire needs come up I look to used tire vendors to help get me through until I can get brand new. Such was the case when I needed 2 tires a couple wks ago. I went to Smokeys because of the close proximity to my home. I bought 2 used tires on 5/21 - on 5/30 while I was on the 417 the tread to one of the tires peeled like a banana leaving me disabled. I did not hi... view moret any road debris, nothing, my vehicle suddenly started to shake & I had the good sense to slow down just as the tire tread peeled off. An FHP trooper stopped to help me & pointed out that the tires were very obviously dry rotted (due to the heat the tires expanded and burst as I was travelling 60mph) I called Smokey`s and they refunded my money (not before being nasty) Smokey`s has a clearly posted policy indicating no refunds exchanges only but they gave me a refund probably because they know what they sell there. My advice, don`t be fooled by the plethora of tires stacked up as you walk in; it is very likely that those tires are sitting in the sun rotting & those may be the tires placed on your car. My advice is to go to Carlito`s on Forsyth or Ruben`s on Semoran - you`re better off as far as quality & service. STAY AWAY FROM SMOKEY`S refund or not they do not sell safe tires - keep in mind I got my $ back so this is not a baseless complaint - be safe & purchase elsewhere if you`re going with used.

the prices are very reasonable...

the prices are very reasonable, and the service is o.k. - they generally do a good job and will not take advantage if you do not know what is wrong. I was impressed with the way that they diagnosed
