I saw an ad posted on autotrader.com for a car that was recently "traded in". I called Auto Max on alt 19 to inquire about the car. I asked the gentleman who answered if there was anything wrong with the car, and was told no. I told them I would be coming from Spring Hill (about 40-50 miles away) in the morning to come look at the car. Nothing was said... I arrived at the lot a half-hour after it ope... view morened for business, went straight to the car listed online, opened the door, sat down, and asked if we could hear it run. He fetched the key, handed it to me, and I inserted and proceeded to try to start the car. The engine would not start... it turned over, but didn`t start and after 5 tries, I gave up. Then I was told by the "sales man" that it was just traded in and they have not had the opportunity to look it over yet, and that the cars that have alreay been sold take precedence over vehicles on the lot... I asked why I was told last night on the phone there was nothing wrong with the car.... and he tried to give a line such as, FORD has problems with VAPOR LOCK... I have never had any issues with any ford I have owned in the past 45 years, and never had this issue... especially on a electric fuel pump... I wasted precious time, gas, and was completely inconvenienced for these fools. Buyer Beware... enter at your own risk...
