Lehman Toyota is a joke. I would never purchase a car from this company again and possibly never purchase a Toyota again. I guess Toyota as a whole did not feel bad about the brakes fiasco and putting innocent peoples lives in danger. They also dont feel bad about wasting their customers time. After receiving a letter from Lehman Toyota in the mail, I went into the dealership. This letter stated that the dealership w... view moreas purchasing 2008 Toyota Camry because there Preowned inventory was low. When I called to inquiry about this a sales agent told me there inventory was low because of what happened in Japan. After I went to the dealership I realized that this was a ploy to get people into the dealership to purchase new Toyota Camrys, although the letter didnt state that in order to sell your car you must buy a car from them. That is in fact what they wanted. The price they offered to purchase my Camry for was a low ball offer. They then said if you purchase a car from us we will buy your Camry for $2500 more than what they originally offered. After I told them that I just wanted to sell the car to them as there letter stated that I could. They went back and forth with me haggling over the price they would pay. Please remember this is the dealership where I originally purchased the car. They told me it was in bad shape, even though it was in excellent condition. I was over mileage and I was lucky to receive their offer. A manager also played a game with me he folded up three pieces of paper. With different offers that they would buy my car for I had to chose the number and promise to accept the number they chose. When I finally folded and accepted the low ball offer, thats when they said they were not interested in just buying cars. It was obvious the letter was a ploy to get people into the dealership. The agent/managers that I dealt with wasted three hours of my busy hectic day. And in the end they told me to go to to CarMax if I just wanted to sell my car. I wish they told me this from the beginning instead of wasting three hours of my day. Honestly after hearing about how Toyota knew about the faulty brakes in the 2008 Camrys and didn?t say anything right away, I already lost respect for the company as a whole. Now Lehman Toyota wasted my time by sending out misleading letters to their previous customers. This is it Im done with them if I was a customer reading this I would NEVER buy a car from them. The next place I will buy my car from is CarMax! After my time was wasted and I sat for 3 hours while employees of Lehman Toyota made me think they were going to purchase my car, I will never do business with this company again. I went to CarMax after I left Lehman Toyota , I got their a 8:15pm because a majority of my day was wasted at Lehman Toyota by 9:15pm my car was sold to CarMax with a significantly high offer given to me by CarMax. I left happily with my check from CarMax in 1 hour! The offer they gave me was entirely more than Lehman Toy

Well, check out all the awesome positive reviews. Comforting right? WRONG. Someone, or maybe several people, at Lehman Toyota have been posting fake reviews on this and other sites to try to boost their image. They paid the marketing firm TRG2 to create a sort of portal website for them which shows users how to create reviews for them. Oftentimes, their own friends, family members, and employees have copied and ... view morepasted positive reviews on various review sites. Their review portal website can be found by performing a web search for ""lehmantoyotareviews"". Dealing with them is a BAD idea. When buying a used car, they will agree to a price, then when its time to complete the paperwork, they will toss in a bogus $800 fee that`s supposedly to cover their expenses to prepare a vehicle for sale. Conveniently, they also try to charge you another $500 or so for the same services (read the fine print). They will steal your money if you are not vigilant. Stay away from these thieves and liars. Also, be a smart consumer, don`t rely on just one review site before making a decision on whether or not to pay them a visit.

I highly recommend that you hire additional support staff in the insurance department. The purchase of the car went smoothly. However, an organization such as Lehman Toyota needs more than one person to process the newly purchased car. The gentleman who helped me with my insurance was very courteous and professional.

Thank you so much for your concern. Honestly I had a great experience, everyone was very helpful and the customer service was excellent. I couldn`t be happier with the car and although it is leased at the moment I do intend on purchasing it once the lease is over with.
