I recently bought a used truck from Bob Tyler. You would have thought I bought a new car with the professional service I received. They were terrific and my salesperson, Tony, knew all about the trucks. They even took my picture when I got the truck. I thought they did that just for the new vehicles. They definitely got my attention and and the definitely got a new customer in me.

I am not new to buying cars. I have bought 1 or 2 in my day and I have seen some really sleazy, bad dealerships. this was not the case with Bob Tyler Toyota. First impressions are very important and when I walked into the dealership I was met by a young man, David Odom, who took great care of my wife and I. Everything from offering us cold water to drink (temps were in the 100`s) as well as offering my wife a manic... view moreure (we were there on Ladies Day). He worked with us, listened to what we wanted and what we wanted to spend and made it happen. we left extremely happy, very satisfied and with a new Toyota Avalon. We plan on telling everyone about our experience with Bob Tyler Toyota and will deal with no one else in the future.

I have bought two (2) Prius`s from Bob Tyler. The service I have received has been excellent. From the sales person, financial dept and the service department - they go out of their way to make sure you are well taken care of. Thank You.

The guy that I use for a service rep is really an outstanding young man and he just makes me feel like I`m the only person in the world and that you guys are taking care of me.

I received a call from Bob Tyler Toyota about buying my 2003 Toyota Matrix from me. I thought it was odd since I`ve never had a dealer inquire about purchasing a car I had listed on Autotrade and Craigslist before. I answered a few questions then I asked what did they guess the approximate appraisal to be for my car. They explained they couldn`t do that on the phone BUT if I drove the 60 miles they could tell me. ... view moreI told them I needed a ballpark before I drove that far and the man on the phone said between $8,000- $8,500 depending on the condition. I then asked about selling my 97 GMC Yukon to them too, would they be interested. On the phone they said, absolutely, plenty of contractors need vehicles like that so go ahead and bring it in. My wife and I decided to bring both vehicles down to the dealership from Crestview, FL to see what they would fetch. I wanted an idea to see if it was worth listing them on eBay or just accept an offer. When I asked about the Yukon upon arriving the answer was, ""we have no interest in that car, why did you bring it""? I was not happy. After waiting 40 minutes they came back with an offer on my Matrix. $7,000. The NADA retail on the Matrix is $12,500. Bob Tyler Toyota listd their own used cars on their own website at $1,000 ABOVE nada retail. The trade in is $9,500 for this car in fair condition. The car is in pristine condition. I was obviously annoyed when he told me the price. The salesman said.....""Oh wait, let me see if he will offer your more, we go by the black book for car values"". The black book is what a car has sold at in the last 2 weeks at a car auction. Any car dealer with a brain would sell the car on eBay and get more than a car auction. I stated I wasn`t really interested and he said, ""At least let me check"". I waited and he came back with a ""final"" offer of $7,500 and had the audacity to tell me the used car manager would hold to that price for the next 30 days if I changed my mind.
