I found this gem of a repair shop through the many wonderful reviews I read about it online. I live in Boston and keep a second home in Jacksonville, and had always brought my Audi TT to a dealer for service. When my clutch went on me in Jacksonville, I was hesitant as to what to do, as all my contacts are in Boston. Fortunately, I found Action Transmission. This service shop is OUTSTANDING - truly - and I say t... view morehis for many reasons. First, it is a truly a ""family run"" business. Robin, his wife and his son I found to be honest and friendly. Second, they did the job in the time they said they would and for the price they said they would. There were no gimmicks and no hidden fees and they were very knowledgeable about the work they were doing and explained it all to me. Finally, I found that the price they did the work for was more than fair. Also, they called me about a week later check to make sure everything was working smoothly. You just do not find this kind of wonderful service shop around anymore. I am so happy I found them and plan to use them for all my service needs in the future. I highly recommend Action Transmission to anyone in need of an auto repair in Jacksonville, Florida.

reality

my experience was very poor,the neighborhood at this location isnt very good. i didnt feel like my vehicle was safe outside and the small 3foot fenced area in the back surely will not provide security against thieves. the second issue is the lack of customer service,which you will recieve none if you question or deny there blown up quotes on services you will not need.the third issue is after waiting quite a long tim... view moree for your vehicle to be not fixed properly,because if your not agreeing to their rediculous quote your vehicle will be forgotten till they decide to work on it. fourth issue is when you do get your vehicle back it most likely will not be fixed and will require additional work. this is only my opinion and review of the said establishment. take from it what you will but if there are good reviews than their should be the freedom to write the bad ones as well and not have them erased. so people will be able to decide for themselves.
