Rip Off`s! ladies & handicapped persons beware!!!

A middle aged lady friend of mine went to this location to get an oil change. She left with close to a $500 estimate to replace upper & lower radiator hoses, radiator flush, & serpentine drive belt. She purchased the parts & brought them to me to install for her. The only problem that the vehicle had was a broken dip stick that was broken when the hood was slammed shut on the truck when Tire Kingdom... view more, changed her oil. I inspected all of the other parts that Tire Kingdom said needed to be replaced. There was absolutely no need for ANY of these parts to be installed. My friend was very distraught. If she had $500, she would have had the work done. To confirm that the vehicle either did or did not need these parts, she took her truck straight another Tire Kingdom, in Seffner,Florida on Parsons Avenue. She & my wife asked the service manager if he would take a quick look under the hood to check the hoses & the drive belt. The manager was happy to take a quick look. He stated that unless they were taking a drive "around the world" there were no parts needed. I contacted a regional manager named Joey. He was very rude. Instead of trying to smooth over the situation, Joey took a defensive approach. He did not even offer an apology, much less any sort of compensation for his Hillsborough Avenue store trying to take advantage of a middle aged , handicapped female. The Tire Kingdom in Seffner, Florida is known for its good work & honesty. They proved that once again. The Tire Kingdom on Hillsborough Avenue, in Tampa is dishonest & will rip off females displaying handicapped placards as well as those who don`t know any better. Buyer beware..
