I had my car serviced at a place that recommended a transmission flush. It seemed fine for a few day after, then my transmission started to slip. I had it towed to the place that serviced my car, and later on that day they told me I needed a new transmission at a cheap quote of 2500.00. to 3000.00. I called Tim at Economy and told him what happened and he told me to bring it down so he could take a look at it. I had ... view moreit towed there from the other service station and was expecting the worse. $150.00 dollars later my car was fixed. He told me that the flush messed with the computer and I didn`t need a new transmission...Thank you Tim for not taking advantage of the situation, for being such a stand up guy, and running a stand up business! A little fyi he rebuilt my tranny 150,000 miles ago I have never had a problem until I let the other service station flush my transmission...

Concerning Mr Endless Problems...
Concerning Mr Endless Problems, What a CROCK!!! Anybody with resonable intelligence would know that removal and installation of a transmission of any kind does NOT require messing with the ignition - that`s in the interior of the vehicle! How does one tighten it anyway!? I don`t like it when someone tries to damage the good rep of someone else due to sheer ignorance or stupidity. I can tell you this, I`ve know a... view morend done business with Tim of Economy Transmission for YEARS, and can personally attest to Tim"s experience and expertise, along with his caring attitude toward his customers. He would never act like this "clown" said he did. He probably has a junk with multiple problems and tried to pin them on Economy Transmission!! Bottom line: Economy Transmission RULES!!!!

Endless problems
I had my transmission rebuilt here. First they forgot to tighten my ignition causing my car to randomly not start when I`d driven over a bump. This took two trips to a different mechanics shop to locate and fix. Now my car is slipping out of gear and it`s their responsibility to fix it under warranty but they won`t even talk to me. I`ve been to different mechanics and everyone says it`s a transmission issue except ec... view moreonomy... I even drove all the way over there(almost an hour away) and they looked at it for about 5 minutes and told me there was nothing wrong with the car and to bring it back when a check engine light was on... Overall their customer service was horrible. They make you feel like you know nothing and they know everything and that you should believe every word they say. Literally I when I said that I`d taken my car to other mechanics and they said it was a transmission issue the guy on the phone told me "I don`t care." Don`t do business with these people... it`s not worth the aggravation... I will ABSOLUTELY NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN.
