I went to Carland Auto Body to get hail damage to my car repaired. Carland Auto Body promised me they`d work with my insurance company, which was to cover all repairs. Carland told me just to bring them the check that the insurance company had sent me and I`d sign it over to them at completion. When I went to pick up my car, they saide the check wasn`t made out properly and that I would have to give them cash or a ... view morecashier`s check to get my car back. My insurance company contacted them to try to work out a solution but they would not listen. I had to drive 50 miles back to my bank to withdraw the money and then back to get my car. When I got my estimate Carland Auto Body promised that they work with my insurance company to resolve any problems, etc., but that was a great big lie. They also promised during the estimate that they would fix a little scratched area not related to the insurance-covered damage, but t that was not done when I picked up the car.
