Stay away from this shop!!

Had a nightmare with this shop!! Took my small block chevy in to get bored, etc. It was there almost two months, always an excuse when I called. When I finally picked it up, they drilled the block wrong, had to take it back, no apologies, nothing. Then the block had to be re-worked by ""The Block Shop"". Great, great, place!!

When I went to start the engine, major oil leak, as they did not replace one of... view more the pressed in oil soft plugs that fits underneath part of the head. How basic is that? This plug requires half the motor to be taken apart just to replace a 25cent part!!

I would stay away from this place and find a competent shop. I had a problem with them about 10yrs. ago, and sadly nothing has changed!

Slow and incompetent

Dropped off the cylinder head from an MG to be worked on -- tested for cracks etc... It took this shop 2.5 months to finish the work. They fully refurbished the head complete with new valves and guides. I thought this would be great, but I was wrong. When I eventually installed the head on the car, the car wouldn`t run, because the intake valves on the number 1 and 2 cylinders were stuck open.
