I don`t know what the other guy is smoking, but maybe the guy should have gone back to the shop and got this addressed instead of going elsewhere. He had a receipt, right? This place has been around for 30 years.

Well, on to my experience. My catalytic converter was stolen by the local gangs and I shopped around many places until I talked to Chatsworth Muffler who gave me the best and most honest deal. When... view more I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and the owner/operator made sure to explain the situation the best way to me. He didn`t charge me to put on extra pipe lengths (after the thieves cut off more than they should have). When he finished welding, he did a double and a triple check, to look for air leaks and he gave me a discount.

A great experience and I definitely recommend this muffler shop to anyone.

do not recommend :(

Took my car in to get a muffler installed, and thought that everything was going to be fine. About 4 months later, I went out to wash the car and touched the tip of the muffler to clean it. The muffler started to swing back and forth and was VERY loose. I took the car into another muffler shop, and they found that the connection from the midpipe to the exhaust was corroded and was starting to become loose. They infor... view moremed me that the welds used by Chatsworth Muffler were wrong and should not be used.

I inspected the rest of the welds when the car was lifted, and I could see many holes and definite signs of corrosion. It was a very shoddy job! I was baffled that I paid someone to do such a poor job.
