Knowingly Installed Wrong Brake Pads on my Honda

In November 2010, I took my Honda to this shop to have the front brakes replaced. I observed the technician grinding on my new brake pads. When I asked the Service Manager why the tech was grinding on my new brake pads, he stated they had the wrong pads and did not want me to have to wait for the new correct ones to arrive. He was going to send me on my way with the wrong brake pads on my car. He told me the car ... view morewas fine and wanted me to pay. I was furious and told them to put my old pads back on and I would take it to someone who used the correct parts. I filed a report with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair and they found my claim against Firestone to be true. A report is on file for your review.
