I had been going to Tom`s for many years. Even referred family and friends. Over the years it seemed as though taking my car in for routine service gradually turned into major repair bills. They "always" found something that "needed to be fixed". "I needed a new this or that". This year I took my car to another repair shop when it was time for regular service. When the new shop att... view moreempted to examine my air filter, they found that Tom`s had cranked the filter housing bolts down with an impact wrench so hard and cross-threaded the bolts that the housing could not be taken apart without breaking it. The oil filter had no gasket, & my tires were over-inflated. Prior to that Tom`s told me I needed a battery in this same car that I had recently purchased from my son-in-law. My son said, "Mom we just put a new battery in the car when we sold it to you!" I would not recommend Tom`s Discount Tire & Off Road Road Performance to anyone. It`s my understanding that the employees work strickly on commission so there is no reason to offer good customer service... just SELL,SELL,SELL.
