First off, I don`t work for them or have any relation to anyone there. We aren`t friends either. What I am, is a loyal customer who has been coming to this place for more than 14 years. And that is saying a lot because I`m only 30, and I`m a stereo fanatic who switches cars every 6 months. They have done probably 10 of my cars, some very well done, some not so well done. Here`s why... - Alex, the owner, is a... view more genuinely good guy. He WANTS your business, which is hard to find here in LA. He will not let you walk out if you are truly interested in are on a budget. You can always, always get a better deal here than anywhere else, A&G, Al&Ed`s, etc. He will quote you higher, like a car salesman but then come down on the price, like way down under anyone else and I know because I have shopped every stereo shop in Cali. I`ve had them work on everything from a Mercedes to a Kia. The best installer will always work on the nicest car and that is why my MB came back perfect and my Kia alarm had a hole cut too big for the led light. BUT, something to remember is ANYTIME you have aftermarket work done on your car you are risking something happening. Stereos often break, its rarely human error and hardly ever from these guys. And when your driving a Kia your not in need of perfection anyway. If you have to be perfect then take your car to Platinum Motorsports on Sunset and PAY for it heavily. IAR is always a great choice in the end.

They lost the front brackets for my license plate for my 350Z and claimed they never saw it. The box was sitting in the trunk and disappeared. When I picked up the car after a head unit install, I asked the owner, Alex, he claimed never to have seen it. I had to buy another new bracket, $45. Also, the cigarette lighter for my F-150 is missing and the owner claims that it fell somewhere in the truck. I sear... view moreched the truck cab for more than an hour and did not find it. Another $15 for a new lighter which I had just purchased. Now the rear view camera is not working all of the time, Alex was not willing to help me but instructed me to come back and leave the truck another day. How inconvenient? Why didn`t he advise me that on the phone when I initially called to ask for help? I have to travel almost 20 miles one way to get to this shop and they don`t value my customer royalty? 3/23/11-I received a new replacement Ford lighter. It`s a little better but what about the 350Z license plate brackets from a couple of years ago? I have called and visited many car audio shops recently within the SFV and I come back because Alex really tries to earn your business. That is why this shop is constantly busy with many installers working. I strongly suggest to shop around and get an itemized estimate and go see Alex for a comparison. Also, there are a few very good installers in IAR, please ask Alex for one of the better ones.

Woke up around 11 am this morning, Opened up Yelp as always to look at some reviews of where I wanted to go for Window Tint in my local area. There are 100`s of these types of Car Stereo / Tint shops all down Lankershim. I went to a few places to get a quote and take a look around the shop. International Auto Radio was very easy to find. I am so happy with the quality of work, that I had to rush home and leave this review. Happy Shopping to all, this place is for sure the real deal for Car Stereo + Window Tint!

I brought in my 2006 Honda civic because the radio was shutting off by itself. Needless to say, I was in distress and needed some quick help. I always use to pass by this place and decided to give them a go. The staff was upfront and laid out the process of going through a repair. I was out of there fast while they looked at my radio to see what was wrong with it. Within a day, I got a call explaining to me what w... view moreas wrong with the radio. Again, they were extremely upfront and explained to me what was wrong with the radio and i gave them the go-ahead for the repair. Once the radio was put back in, it worked like it did the very first day i got the car! My radio was working perfectly once again! I was so ecstatic that i went back a week later to get some new speakers put in (those factory speakers are mediocre at best) and had ANOTHER extremely great experience. I was shown various different models and given different package choices to see which speakers would suit my ears and wallet best. The installation was fast and professional and I left that day bumping to some great sounding music. I DEFINITELY recommend this shop to anybody wanting to fix or upgrade sound system components in their vehicles. I am still saving up for a touch-screen navigation but when I do finally get the cash I know where i`ll definitely be going- International Auto Radio.

I have a Suzuki 650 Burgman that I wanted to put a stereo in. Although putting stereo`s on bike`s is not their speciality, they were able to put one on for me with an amplifier. It sounds great going 75 on the freeway. It is loud and clear and keep in mind that there is nothing on the bike to enclose the sound of the music like there is in a car. I took in my daughters VW Jetta to get an estimate for a full system for Christmas. I did my share of research, shopped around and knew kind of what i wanted and prices. They offered to match the prices i already had, and beat some of them. Fair enough, they gave me a whole package price for all the equipment. I surprised my daughter on Christmas day and she went in to get it installed the following Monday. Overall these guys not only did quality work for a good price, but showed character while doing it. My daughter and I have no complaints.

they put speakers in my car, some small stuff went missing, i had to argue with them about it. I found extra screws for my dash and doors on the floor?? now my dash squeaks. I looked up the prices for the speakers and they over charged me on everything and charged me a high installation fee. These people prey on naive customers... There prices aren`t written, just based on whatever the guy decides in the ... view moremoment. they kept extra equipment from me that I bought that they didnt install..and didnt tell me that they didnt install it when they overpriced the equipment to begin with. The workers are sloppy and make a mess in the car and dont clean anything. this place is horrible. why would you do business here.
