My father dropped off his truck for an airconditioning diagnostic on 8-20-11. An employee called two hours later and said that they cannot find anything wrong with it and suggested that he leave his truck over night. 24 hours later, no phone call. I called, and was placed in there phone que going round and round with an automated voice for 10 mins ONLY to have a technician answer and place me on hold for another 1... view more0 mins. I picked up my cell and called (while being on hold with my home phone) I spoke with the manager Brad and was told that they lost the invoice! Needless to say I picked up my truck and DID NOT pay the 35.00 diagnostic fee. Brad was argumentative and lacked zero customer service skills.

horrible experience

Don?ˆ™t do it. Don?ˆ™t make the sad mistake I did thinking Pep Boys will take good care of you. On 5-11-10 I left my car with them for a whole day to do an engine diagnostic. I told them it was bogging, stalling, and the engine light was on. On 5-15-10 my engine failed. I asked the Assistant Manager Melissa how that could happen; she said ?ˆ?I don?ˆ™t know.?ˆ? When I told the Service Manager what had happened he said not... view morehing. When I asked the Store Manager Brad how this could have happened he repeatedly kept saying, ?ˆ?I don?ˆ™t know.?ˆ? Are these the people you would trust to work on your car? I will never trust Pep Boys again. Don?ˆ™t you or your family members visit give them any of your business.
