We had taken our 1996 Ford to another shop and they wanted $150 just to look at it and intimated it could be so much money to repair that we would need aid from the govt. Needless to say, I did much research and was referred then to an excellent mechanic at Car Aid on Angus St. in Orange. George - the owner - was absolutely terrific. He tested the Ford the same day we brought it in at no charge and called us right... view more away with an update of mechanical problems and an honest opinion of not to spend the money because the car wasn`t worth the repairs that it needed. He charged us absolutely nothing. He spent time explaining to both of us what our car issues were. George is very knowledgeable about most makes/models. If you need an honest & fair mechanic, give him a call! We will be using him for repair of our 2006 Volvo.
