I live no more than a mile from this establishment and drive by it daily and didn`t think nothing much of them. So I recently purchased a Honda Civic (96), and needed a cat job done to pass smog. I took my car to another repair shop to have them service it and upon returning from Morongo I started to hear a rattling sound coming from underneath the car. I decided to give Advance Tire and Muffler Service (Garen is the... view more owner) a shot and as I drove in John knew the exact year of my car. Sure enough John offered a free diagnostic and lifted my car to examine the problem. Within several seconds John had already identified the problem and told me that the double pipe (pipe within another pipe) was causing the nose. For a small fee he said he would resolve the problem, but insisted I go back to the shop and have them recorrect their error. Because my cat was damaged slightly the previous shop refused to work on it. I found myself back at Garen`s shop the next day and they were able to do the job within 10mins. After the workers were done with the job John insisted they raise the car again to have him re inspect and told me he wants the car leaving in perfect condition. As they were working on my car I was able to compare the welding jobs done with the previous shop and Garen and John`s men did a flawless welding job, a flawless finish, a true art in itself. John also re welded my cat just because the other shop left clumps of welding which caused an air leak. I will be sure to visit this shop and recommend them for all my tire and muffler needs. They were honest and caring. They want to do a good job! I`ve finally found my guys. Garen and John are the real players in this game. Thanks guys!
