DON`T GO HERE

I have had TERRIBLE experience with this business which has even lead me to the point of SUING them. I got my regular oil change performed by Norstar Automotive because it appeared to be a great deal, I should have gone somewhere else because little did I know how big of a hassle they would make it for them to take responsibility for the damage they caused to my vehicle. When they performed my oil change they tig... view morehtened my oil plug too tight which stripped the threading on the plug causing the plug to spin in place. At the time of my next oil change I took my vehicle to a Jiffy Lube and they informed me that there was a problem with the threading on my plug and that they could not perform an oil change and recommended that I return to Norstar Automotive as they were the last people to change my oil. When I took the vehicle to Norstar they took responsibility and put an after market plug into the pan and assured me that the problem had been fixed. After a couple of months I noticed that my oil was leaking all over my garage and I took my vehicle to the VW Dealership for an unrelated problem and asked about my leak while I was there. They said that the after market plug was crooked and that the only way to fully fix the problem would be to replace the entire oil pan costing over $500 with labor. After contacting Norstar Automotive they refused to pay for the replacement EVEN AFTER they had accepted responsibility previously! They have ignored all forms of communication since then and DID NOT even show up to court after being served papers. THEY ARE A TERRIBLY RUN BUSINESS AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE! SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE BECAUSE IF THEY CAUSE DAMAGE TO YOUR CAR THEY WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. AWFUL BUSINESS, TERRIBLE STAFF, EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY OF WORK. DO NOT GO TO NORSTAR AUTOMOTIVE.

The best I have ever had

I feel compelled to let anyone looking for vehicle service or repair, That Norstar Automotive is the great. The owner Jimmy is extremely friendly, respectful and an all around great guy. The staff if professional, quick and straightforward. Give them a shot, you won`t be disappointed. Great Job guys!
