So I`ve been dealing with my car, because it won`t pass smog... took it to a shop where they said that they would charge $120 diagnose the problem and half of that would go towards repairs. We got a call half an hour later saying that the car`s O2 sensor was bad and some spark plug wires (Which they checked back in Jan and said were perfectly fine). "Santiago" said he was going to charge us $580 to do the w... view moreork on top of the $120 he used to diagnose. I`m not stupid, I called my dad (a mechanic) and he said, "Absolutely not. Go to a parts store, get the parts and I`ll do it." "Santiago" said that the O2 sensor was going to cost $280 alone, but when we went to O`Reilly`s it was only $115. They even went as far as checking the code being thrown off by the check engine light which they verified FOR FREE (mind you, they didn`t do it because they had to, but because they were appalled by how we were just treated.) "Santiago" was going to mark up the part almost 150% and then charge us hours for labor for something that takes about 10 min to do. We now have numerous offers to do the job for not even a quarter of the price by good Samaritans. When confronted with all of this, "Santiago" said, "Well that`s what I charge, I have to keep the shop open some way," and "Well, you don`t trust me now anyways, so why would I give you any money back." Moral of the story.... do not go to Quality Tune Up on Hammer Lane!!!!

Great Service!

OK, I know its an auto-service shop so why do I bother to take the time to write this? Because I honestly went in expecting the usual overcharge & poor service you get from most of these discount centers however exactly the opposite happened...They did a good job, took about 30-minutes and I was out of there spending only $35. So now you know why I`m writing this...Great Service / Great Value!

Great service

They got me in quick without an appointment (for a tune-up) when nobody else could. Everyone treated me great and took good care of me.
