I took my old beat up `96 Corolla to where I thought my old mechanic was still doing business but lo and behold there was a completely new outfit in the garage next to the 711 on S. Pedro Rd. Since I couldn`t locate the last guy who worked on my car I was in no position to be picky so I approached a young man who was working there and told him what I thought was wrong with my car and asked if he could fix it. ... view moreI brought it in the next day and Rodrigo, whom I had talked to the day before took the car in. Of course what I thought was wrong with it was not at all the problem. There were several other problems, all fixed by Rodrigo. He went out of his way to save me money by not fixing what didn`t need to be fixed right away. He fixed a few things that were immediate safety problems and didn`t charge me for it. He even called a week later to ask how the car was running! No mechanic has ever done that for me or anyone I know for that matter. The car is running like a dream, and it could have turned into a nightmare for me and my lackadaisical and slovenly maintainence habits. Now if I could get an auto body guy to be the same way...
