We broke down in Baker. Danny was initially friendly but he charges $95 for a look plus $40 per day for storage, which he did not disclose. For a transmission he quoted me $2,000 for a used one or $2,800 for a refurbished one, when most quotes I got in Thousand Oaks were for $2,000 for a full rebuild. He was abusive with my wife and made her cry. If you are stuck there, try and cut a deal to store your car at one of the gas stations until you can tow it. Avoid Danny if you possibly can.
