DISHONEST CROOKED REPAIR SHOP--Read My Review

LIM`S TRIED TO RIP ME OFF FOR $650! I took in my `98 4runner to have them check out a clicking/knocking sound coming from the wheel well. They charged me $35 or $40 bucks just for a diagnosis that turned out to be completely FALSE! They said it was my rack and pinion and that they would give me a great "discount" on a refurbished part $650 installed. I went to another mechanic for a 2nd opinion (who charged me $0... view more by the way) and they said my rack and pinion was definitely not the cause of the problem and it was totally fine. My friend and I (neither of us are mechanics) started looking under the truck and found a loose bolt. Turns out that fixed it! $650 right? I went back to Lim`s and asked for my "diagnostic" money which he gave me the run around about and never refunded me. If you`re looking for an honest mechanic DON`T GO TO LIM`S!!!
