Brake Masters

This is my second truck I use Brake Masters with.

This shop is great, you pay a one time lifetime warranty for brake pads and everytime you go back you pay only labor.

I went in this morning because its been a little over a year since my brakes were worked on. They checked them and let me know the brakes were at 50%. The Manager (who has been there atleast 4 years or more?) told me no work needed to be ... view moredone until another 7-9 months, they also told me in mileage. Any other shop (Purfect Auto, American Tires..) would have replaced the still good pads and charge me.

The trip to Brake Masters was free, quick, and Honest and always has.

Terrible!! If you value your money, stay away!!!!

This place is a total ripoff. I took in a coupon for a $45 brake job + pad cost. After jacking up my car to inspect it they came back with a total price of $209 to replace the rear only. The break down of the total costs was $10 each rotor (fair enough), $55 labor (fair enough since the rear job is $10 more), then came the ripoff pad cost of $115, lol!! I looked up the cost of the exact same pads at a auto retail par... view morets store and they`re $30. Wtf kind of mark-up is that???!!! The guy said the pads are lifetime warrantied, well no s#@t since the manufacturer offers the warranty. If I need them replaced I would have to repay the labor costs... umm if something is warrantied that usually means you don`t have to pay again, right?? Not to mention, when I gave them my keys they said it could take up to 1 hr. Since I was the only car currently there I figured it couldn`t take too much longer than that, but after sitting there for 2 hrs I noticed they hadn`t touched my car in about 1 hr. I know machining rotors doesn`t take more than 5 mins each so I asked if there was a problem. Their excuse was that "they forgot about me"..?? What are they smoking in this place, I was the only car hanging in the bays lol. I`m generally a real patient and understanding person, so I`m just trying to warn you guys/gals, STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM OF A BRAKE REPAIR SHOP!!!!!
