These guys charged me over $25...

These guys charged me over $250 for &quot;fixing&quot; the check engine light problem. They did nothing, accepted my cash. 25 miles later, the engine light came back on. Then they sent me to a different place, saying it was thier &quot;gun&quot; problem, not accepting responsibilty! They sent me to another pepboys, who charged me $90 for a FREE TEST, to make up for this!!! I am NEVER going to... view more them again. The Mangager was RUDE, and said &quot;you shouldn`t sign for car work&quot; when I complained about paying for a FREE test. EDIT (couple months later) The Cucamonga pepboys gave me a printout saying i needed a thermostat and temp sensor. Their quoted price: $450.72 I went to another shop, they replaced the thermostat & fluid and stated i DID NOT need the other part that pepboys said i did. My bill came to $80.00! The CROOK "manager" at pepboys overcharged me, and ripped me off for a FREE makeup test due to their equiptment malfunction. That wasn`t enough, he thought I was a sucker, and gave me a $450 estimate for a thermostat. I am a woman, and I am not that dumb. Sorry pepjerks, I wont EVER be back.

No Quality

I just took my truck in the get the power steering pump replaced at the pep boys on foothill. Not only did they not have the job completed when they told me they would, when I was driving it home the bearing for the AC broke. I returned and told them I have never had a problem when the AC until their mechanics touched it. They wanted another $1,000 dollars from me after I had already spent $500.
