Sold Me a Lemon

If you`re looking to buy a used car, don`t shop at Fullerton Motors. I thought buying a car from a mechanic was safer than buying one from an individual seller. I was sooooo wrong! This guy owns an auto shop and sells used cars on the side. He said he buys them at auctions, fixes them up and sells them. Well, he might buy them from auctions and sell them, but he sure doesn`t fix them. I bought a used car off him that... view more he said he`d checked out and had no problems. As soon as we bought it ""as is"" and drove it off of his lot the ""check engine"" and ""transmission"" lights came on. Turns out the transmission was shot, the front end needed an alignment, and the left front axle was about to break. It cost over $2000 to make all of the repairs. Either he`s the worst mechanic in town if he thinks that car was in good condition, or he`s a pretty shady businessman. Unless you have money to throw away, stay clear of this place!
