Worthless Used Tires

Bought two used tires and was expecting at least a few weeks of life, not to mention the tires being safe to drive on. The first one blew out that night after 7 hours and the second one was so dry and cracked that I had to get two new tires for safety reasons. I understand no warranty, but the tires should have been safe to drive on in the first place.
