Trys to sell more than what you need. Be very carefull
A while ago I bought the Lifetime alignment from Anderson tire. For $99 and living in a city with tons of off roading and pot holes I thought it was a great idea. Wrong. Even since it has been IMPOSSIBLE to get them to align it. Something was always wrong. First when I got there at noon it was ""too late in the day"" same when I showed up the next day at ten. I finally showed up at 8am right when they open, paid for ... view morean oil change and told them to align it too. But suprise supirse when I got there they did the oil change, but couldnt do the alignment because ""I needed new axles and motor mounts and to determine what they had to do I had to pay $89 for them to do a one hour test on it"".I didnt believe it since my car is fairly new. So I took it to a different shop. They said there wasn`t a thing wrong with it, not one thing. So I paid them to do the alignment, so much for the lifetime one at Anderson. Beware, they try to sell you way more than you need. WAY more.

Be Careful -Very Careful
Since I wrote this review I have had two flats. When taken in for repair I was told the tires were OK but there was a dirt in the bead allowing for a slow leak. What causes dirt in the bead? WHEN THE RIMS ARE NOT CLEANED WHEN NEW TIRES ARE MOUNTED. Chalk up another one for Anderson Tires knowledge regarding tires. Let me see, that raises their knowledge to -oh yes A NEGATIVE 100. Evidently no on there, including... view more the manager/owner knows a thing about tire as theyi all heard the argument (see below) but not one suggested the installer LOOK ON THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR-so either no one knows anything there OR they were trying bait and switch and attempting to sell me rims I DID NOT NEED. Be careful, BE VERY CAREFUL DOING ANY KIND OF BUSINESS WITH THEM.

My oriignal review continues below.

When I first went in I was quoted a price for tires. After about an hour of waiting the installer came out and told me that the rims for my car were the wrong rims, too large. I told him they were the correct rims. He argued with me, said some one switched the correct rims for larger ones when I was looking. I told him I had bought the car new and those are the rims that came with that car. He then told me that dealers often switch rims on new cars, I used to work for a dealer, I know. I continued to tell him those were the correct rims. He said the tires were rubbing against the shocks and were too large (they were). After he could not convince me the rims were too large he said he had smaller tires that would fit those rims. Gee, but they were $10 more for each tire than the ones I was quoted. He put those on, they are not the correct size for my car. ALL HE HAD TO DO WAS TO SIMPLY LOOK INSIDE THE DRIVER`S DOOR TO FIND THAT THE RIMS WERE THE CORRECT SIZE AND TO GET THE CORRECT SIZE OF TIRE-he did not do that. After being unable to sell me new rims he said those were the right rims but still put on the wrong size tires (smaller than manufactured). Either the installer A. had no idea what he was doing and did not know where to find the correct rim and tire size (in which case he had no business working in a tire store) or B. it was a bait and switch and he tried to sell me rims I did not need (and had I listened to him would have had rims too small for my car).

I wrote a letter when I got home and included the information on the window sticker for my car (which I sitll had) AND photos from the car catalog showing the EXACT RIMS I have on my car. I wrote to the owner/manager. I got no reply at all, none. Evidently the owner does not care that A. his installer has no idea how to install tires- in which case the man should not be working there and his customers should recieve a reply to their complaints or B. that his installer, perhaps with the owner`s blessings, tried to sell me something I did not need (and still sold tires more expensive than the ones I was originally quoted) -But in any case, not replying to my letter and allowing an employee so ""uninformed"" that he had no idea where to look to find the correct rims and tires size and not replying to a customer`s complaint-is LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE. Their business cards state ""GOOD SERVICE IS OUT BUSINESS"" and that is a joke, a total and complete joke. I would never go back there and am trying to see if I can trade the too small tires they put on my car for the correct size. If one does business with them one needs to be very careful. It is possible this particular installer was not an example of their employees but the owner was there, he did NOT interfer, he did NOT tell his installer where to find the size and I was looked upon as being a ""trouble maker"" for protesting. The fact that he did not reply to my letter says a great deal.
