Stay Away! While in travel from Daphne to Montomgery, I had an alternator changed at Jones Car Care. The work done for $300 that wound up costing me $1200. A day later, the drive belt split and started whipping around in the engine doing damage. The mechanics that service my car regularly (in Daphne) said the belt was in good shape, and it either had to be placed back on wrong or damaged during the work at Jones Car ... view moreCare. I contacted them on several occasions to make it right, but they just passed me off to some desk clerk at an insurance agency in North Carolina who denied me any reimbursement. They denied that Jones had any wrong doing. However, the work was hurried because they failed to even put the sound cover back on the engine after working on it. Seems very coincidental that all this happened the following day.
