Second Time Listing Due To NON PAYING EBAYER!  Please only bid if you have the means to buy and purchase within 7 days of end!

Up for sale this week is my 2002 Saab 9-3 Turbo with only 90k miles....  This car is ready to go with no major issues.  I will break down and list by categorie and opinion below.  *again, this is solely my opinion as the owner, i am not a mechanic.  I full encourage anyone and everyone to come and inspect the vehicle by any means.

Exterior: This is the royal blue color.  The paint is not perfect by any means...  I would rate it a 5 out of 10.  It deffinately has its share of Dings and dents, most of them i tryed to show you in the pics.  There are alot of TREE SAP markings on the car.  It could deffinately use a Nice Detail with buff and wax.  there is Zero RUST on the car. All of the lights work

Interior:  This has the nice sleek black leather interior and is in overall good condition.  I would rate it a 8 out of 10.  All buttons and features work on the car, including the sunroof.  There are some stains on the back rear seats and the carpets could use a shampoo.  The radio, heat and ac all work (allthough the antenna is broken so the radio signal is weak)  The dash and LED are all good, the drivers right arm rest is a lil loose and the drivers seat switch control is loose as well.  There are no cracks or rips.  the rear cargo area is clean and comes with original jack and spare as well as netting.

Engine: This is the 4 cyl. turbo engine.  Not much to say about it... i just put a battery in last month. The oil is good, there is no sounds,or any leaks of fluid.  the engine has 90,942 original miles. The transmission shifts perfectly!  The car still has a Valid Mass inspection sticker good until the end of next month.

Rims & Tires: The tires are in great shape, all 4 match and all 4 still have about 80% tread left.  Rims are pretty good as well.  some very very slight scratches on them but i would rate it a 9 out of 10.  Again, they should be detailed to take off more of the brake dust.

Exhaust: There is a slight exhaust leak at the Rear of the Muffler.  I believe a clamp is broken?  (but i am not a mechanic)  It just started to get slightly loud last week.  Again, its really not that bad i just wanted to inform you of all the imperfections.

My name is jay, The car is Located in 02333.  (about 25 mins South of BOSTON)  I strongly encourage anyone and everyone to come take a look at the car, start it up, look around, drive it, etc... I am not a mechanic and the above statements are only my honest opinion.  I will not be held responsible for items above not described correctly or any items i missed by accident. There are companys out there that will come look at a car (for a fee).  Please, as a buyer, do your dillegence.  There is not exsisting warranty or implied warranty.  You are buying a used car.

Payment: I require an immediate paypal depost of 500$.  You then have 3 days to pay the remaining balance, either by paypal or cash in hand apon pick up.  You then have 7 days from end of auction to remove the car from my property.  NO exceptions!!!  If car is not picked up in 7 days, buyer will forfeit any moneys (deposit or other) and i will Re List the car.

*If you have any questions please ask Before Car ends, not after!   i will not be held responsible if you do not ask the proper questions.  I have stated all i know about the car above. Clean and clear title in hand!   I have 100% pos feedback and have been on ebay for 10 Years!   bid with confidence.

NEVS' reorganization plan approved after all?

Fri, 29 Aug 2014

What a difference a day makes. Thursday, we reported that current Saab parent National Electric Vehicle Sweden had its application for creditor protection denied by the Swedish court for being "vague and completely undocumented." But NEVS was back in court on Friday, and this time the application was granted. However, the story continued to get weirder as defense contractor Saab AB allegedly revoked NEVS' rights to use the Saab name.
NEVS did put out a brief press release confirming the court decision saying: "The District court of Vänersborg, Sweden, today August 29 approved the application for reorganization from National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB." The company allegedly has over 90 creditors, and according to Reuters, it owes them roughly 400 million Swedish krona ($57.56 million). The business says that it is in negotiations with two, unnamed companies to get additional funding.
Also, according to Reuters, Saab AB, best known for making fighter planes, has revoked NEVS' rights to the Saab brand name because the company's application for creditor protection gave the defense contractor that right. When NEVS bought Saab, it only acquired the automaker's physical assets, and had to negotiate for the rights to use the name.

What car brand should come back?

Fri, Apr 7 2017

Congratulations, wishful thinker! You've been granted one wish by the automotive genie or wizard or leprechaun or whoever has been gifted with that magical ability. You get to pick one expired, retired or fired automotive brand and resurrect it from its heavenly peace! But which one? That's a tough decision and not one to be made lightly. As we know from car history, the landscape is littered with failed brands that just didn't have what it took to cut it in the dog-eat-dog world of vehicle design, engineering and marketing. So many to choose from! Because I am not a car historian, I'll leave it to a real expert to present a complete list of history's automotive misses from which you can choose, if you're a stickler about that sort of thing. And since I'm most familiar with post-World War II cars and brands, that's what I'm going to stick to (although Maxwell, Cord and some others could make strong arguments). So, with the parameters established, let's get started, shall we? Hudson: I admit, I really don't know a lot about Hudson, except that stock car drivers apparently did pretty well with them back in the day, and Paul Newman played one in the first Cars movie. But really, isn't that enough to warrant consideration? Frankly, I think the Paul Newman connection is reason enough. What other actor who drove race cars was cooler? James Dean? Steve McQueen? James Garner? Paul Walker? But, I digress. That's a story for another day. Plymouth: As the scion of a Dodge family (my grandfather had a Dodge truck, and my mom had not one, but two Dodge Darts – the rear-wheel-drive ones with slant sixes in them, not the other one they don't make any more), I tend to think of Plymouth as the "poor man's Dodge." But then you have to consider the many Hemi-powered muscle cars sold under the Plymouth brand, such as the Road Runner, the GTX, the Barracuda, and so on. Was there a more affordable muscle car than Plymouth? When you place it in the context of "affordable muscle," Plymouth makes a pretty strong argument for reanimation. Oldsmobile: When I was a teenager, all the cool kids had Oldsmobile Cutlasses, the downsized ones that came out in 1978. At one point, the Olds Cutlass was the hottest selling car in the land, if you can believe that. Then everybody started buying Honda Civics and Accords and Toyota Corollas and Camrys, and you know the rest. But going back farther, there's the 442 – perhaps Olds' finest hour when it came to muscle cars.

Junkyard Gem: 1988 Saab 900

Tue, Nov 29 2016

Saab had a cult following in North America going back to the two-stroke Saab 96, but it wasn't until the 900 made its debut for the 1978 model year that the marque started to be considered a mainstream – if still a bit odd – brand here. Based on the venerable 99 but seeming a lot more modern, the 900 sold well to those who wanted to drive something sensibly Scandinavian but didn't want the stodginess of a Volvo. These cars were especially popular in Colorado, and I found this high-mile-but-solid '88 in a Denver self-service wrecking yard. Nearly made it to 300,000 miles, but it never got the chance. The key is still in the console-mounted ignition switch, and the steel lanyard indicates that this car went to the wrecking yard via an insurance-company or dealership-trade-in auction. Since the car has no major body damage, that means that its final owner traded it in – reluctantly, we hope – on another car, and nobody was willing to bid over scrap value for the elderly Swede at auction. Most such auctions have an arrangement with a local wrecking yard to take all the unsold cars for a set price, and that's what we can assume happened to this car. Chances are that it was still in running condition when it showed up here. You could get a 1988 Saab 900 with a three-speed Borg-Warner automatic transmission, but I can't recall having ever seen one so equipped. Most Saab 900 buyers insisted on manuals. The engine in this car is a slant-four based on the same Triumph engine used in the Triumph TR7. By the 1980s, Saab had made sufficient improvements to the design that it was several orders of magnitude more reliable than its British Leyland ancestors. This one made 110 horses, which did an acceptable job of moving the car's 2,695 pounds. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
