FOR SALE WITH BEST OFFERS CONSIDERED. MY FAVORITE SUV EVER... 2008 SAAB 9-7X AERO IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. WHEN I PURCHASED THIS I WENT ACROSS THE US TO FIND THE CLEANEST LOW MILAGE TRUCK I COULD FIND. IT HAS BEEN MY GARAGE KEPT AND TREATED VERY WELL. HAND WASH ONLY, WAXED A FEW TIMES A YEAR WITH THE BEST PRODUCTS..ECT. ALWAYS MOBIL 1 AND REALLY NEVER DRIVEN IN RAIN OR SNOW AS THIS IS A SECOND VEHICLE FOR ME (I DRIVE MY WORK TRUCK MOSTLY).
HISTORY..3 OWNERS TOTAL. 1ST OWNER LEASED IT AND THEN BOUGHT IT AS I WAS TOLD BY THE SECOND OWNER WHO WAS AS CRITICAL AS I AM ON WHERE HIS CARS CAME FROM. THE SECOND OWNER WAS ALSO A CAR ENTHUSIAST WHO HAD A FEW LUXURY CARS AND I PUCHASED THE AERO FROM HIM PRIVATE PARTY 8/2012. I WOULD NOT BE SELLING THIS IF I WAS ABLE TO PUCHASE A SECOND HOME WITHOUT 30% DOWN. I REALLY TOOK CARE OF THE TRUCK AND WENT WAY OUT OF MY WAY TO FIND IT A YEAR AGO. THE MILES I PUT ON IT WERE MAINLY HIGHWAY TO TN. AND FL.
WHAT MAKES THIS TRUCK AWESOME.. I HAVE ONLY CHANGED A FEW THINGS AND I HOPE THE NEXT OWNER CAN APPRECIATE. THE TAIL LIGHTS ARE ACTUALLY FROM A BUICK RAINER...I JUST DID NOT CARE FOR THE CLEAR EURO LIGHTS(WHICH ARE IN PERECT SHAPE BOXED UP INCLUDED WITH TRUCK). K&N INTAKE BECAUSE I LOVE THE DEEP SOUND IT ADDS CONSIDERING I DID NOT WANT TO LOSE THE FACTORY EXHAUST IN CASE OF A HIGHWAY DROWN...SOUNDS NICE THE WAY IT IS! PARROT BLUETOOTH HANDS FREE PHONE WAS PRO INSTALLED. MIC. IN CEILING. PLAYS OVER FACTORY RADIO! REAL NEAT.. WEATHER TECH FLOOR MATS FRONT,2ND ROW AND FULL CARGO AREA WERE IN THE CAR WHEN I BOUGHT IT TO KEEP THE FACTORY CARPET IN GREAT SHAPE! DRILLED AND SLOTTED ROTORS & CERAMIC PADS WERE INSTALLED WHEN BRAKES WERE DONE AT 29K MILES PER SECOND OWNERS RECORDS..
INTERIOR HAS EVERY OPTION EXCEPT NAV(GOOD THING, FACTORY NAV UNIT THIS YEAR IS NOTHING TO SPEAK OF)
HAS REAR DVD WITH BASICLY BRAND NEW REMOTE AND PAIR OF HEADPHONES IN ORIGINAL BOX.
LEATHER IS IN GREAT SHAPE...CARPET HAS BEEN PROTECTED BY THE WEATHER TECH MATS SO ITS IN BETTER THAN AVERAGE CONDITION..NON SMOKER VEHICLE!
CONDITION....THIS IS THE EASY PART..TIRES HAVE 10K MILES AND ARE A YEAR OLD WITH ALOT OF LIFE LEFT... TIGHT FRONT END NO ISSUES WITH ALIGNMINT DRIVES STRAIGHT..STOPS GREAT W/ NO PULLING.. TRANS SHIFTS EXCELLENT AND NO LEAKS THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN. OIL WAS LAST CHANGED IN JUNE/2013 AT 40K ALMOST ON THE DOT... NO TROBLE CODES ON 1 LOW TIRE WARNING EVERY NOW AND THEN DUE TO A IN AND OUT SENSOR EXPLAINED BELOW..
- ONE TIRE SENSOR IS SENDING A READING OF 18LBS WHEN YOU MANUALLY TEST IT IS 35LBS..I HAVE NOT HAD THIS FIXED EVEN THOUGH I WANTED TO. I KNOW IT IS THE SENSOR AS I MANUALLY CHECKED IT TWICE..NO BIG DEAL
-1 SMALL STONE CHIP ON THE HOOD SMALLER THAN PENCIL ERASER(SHOWN IN PHOTO)WAS TOUCHED UP WITH FACTORY T/U PAINT INCLUDED W/TRUCK. A FEW OTHER MINOR CHIPS ON THE LOWER FRONT BUMPER..BUT THATS ABOUT IT, NOTHING I WOULD HAVE FIXED BECAUSE YOU JUST CANT DRIVE A CAR AND EXPECT ANYTHING BETTER, EVEN WHEN YOU ARE AS CAREFUL AS I HAVE BEEN. OVERALL I'D RATE THE BODY BETTER THAN AVERAGE.
NO DINGS OR NOTABLE SCRACHES OTHERWISE!! ..SERIOUSLY, IM KIND OF A FREAK ABOUT PAINT CONDITION AND ITS REALLY CLEAN FOR MILAGE AND YEAR.. I HAVE LOOKED AT A BUNCH OF THESE AND CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER SS'S AND YOU JUST CANT FIND ONE BETTER UNLESS IT WAS NEVER USED..
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR WOULD LIKE A PICTURE OF SOMTHING SPECIFICALLY PLEASE ASK. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE OF THE CONDITION BEFORE OFFERING 15K..I'M JUST NOT THAT PRESSED TO SELL IT. CASH OFFERS AND QUICK PAYMENT AND OR PICK-UP WILL BE STRONGLY CONSIDERED.
THANKS FOR VIEWING

Spyker and Youngman sign deal, plan to build D8 SUV and Phoenix-based range
Mon, 27 Aug 2012It appears Spyker is strengthen its ties and carmaking ability with Chinese carmaker Youngman. This comes in the wake of the brand's latest dealings with a $3 billion lawsuit against General Motors regarding the demise of Saab.
Youngman is reportedly investing €10,000,000 ($12.5M USD) for a 29.9-percent stake in the company. The shares are being sold for €0.05 (6.3 cents) each, representing a fully diluted share. Youngman has said it will not take on more than the 29.9-percent stake.
Additionally, Youngman will invest €25,000,000 ($31M) for the development of an all-new Spyker vehicle, called the D8 P2P, named for the Peking-to-Paris rally. The vehicle had been shown as a concept by Spyker previously, but things had been quiet since then. It appears Spyker will now build the uniquely styled D8 Concept shown above. The vehicle is to launch at the end of 2014 and carry a price of $250,000 per vehicle.
Saab 9-3 production has restarted
Sun, 01 Dec 2013If you're one of the small cadre of Saab drivers, first of all, kudos to you. Because as Top Gear pointed out, Saab drivers are among the most intellectual drivers out there. Secondly, we've got good news for you, because the 9-3 has officially resumed production at the Trollhättan plant in Sweden.
For those of you who may not have followed the story, a quick refresher: Founded in 1947, Saab Automobile AB was an independent automaker until 1989 when General Motors began the decade-long process acquiring it. Unable to make it profitable, GM sold Saab to Spyker in 2010, but that Dutch automaker proved unable to make a go of it, either, and finally shut it down a year later. Much of Saab's assets were acquired by National Electric Vehicle Sweden, which in turn is partially owned by the Chinese city of Qingdao, which pledged to get production back online by the end of the year.
NEVS has apparently made good on its promise, bringing 600 workers back to the factory to resume production of the 9-3 much as it was when a workforce of 3,500 labored on it and its stablemates prior to the bankruptcy. The reborn 9-3 will be sold in Sweden and in China, with an electric version to bring some other updates sometime next year.
Junkyard Gem: 1988 Saab 900
Tue, Nov 29 2016Saab had a cult following in North America going back to the two-stroke Saab 96, but it wasn't until the 900 made its debut for the 1978 model year that the marque started to be considered a mainstream – if still a bit odd – brand here. Based on the venerable 99 but seeming a lot more modern, the 900 sold well to those who wanted to drive something sensibly Scandinavian but didn't want the stodginess of a Volvo. These cars were especially popular in Colorado, and I found this high-mile-but-solid '88 in a Denver self-service wrecking yard. Nearly made it to 300,000 miles, but it never got the chance. The key is still in the console-mounted ignition switch, and the steel lanyard indicates that this car went to the wrecking yard via an insurance-company or dealership-trade-in auction. Since the car has no major body damage, that means that its final owner traded it in – reluctantly, we hope – on another car, and nobody was willing to bid over scrap value for the elderly Swede at auction. Most such auctions have an arrangement with a local wrecking yard to take all the unsold cars for a set price, and that's what we can assume happened to this car. Chances are that it was still in running condition when it showed up here. You could get a 1988 Saab 900 with a three-speed Borg-Warner automatic transmission, but I can't recall having ever seen one so equipped. Most Saab 900 buyers insisted on manuals. The engine in this car is a slant-four based on the same Triumph engine used in the Triumph TR7. By the 1980s, Saab had made sufficient improvements to the design that it was several orders of magnitude more reliable than its British Leyland ancestors. This one made 110 horses, which did an acceptable job of moving the car's 2,695 pounds. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
