Beautiful car. Silver over black with grey Connolly leather interior. Has burled Walnut dash, door finishers and back seat tables. Has Wilton carpets with the Geniuine Rolls over carpets for both the front and back seats. There are carpeted foot rests for the back seat passengers. This car has been maintained, for years, by Ronnie at Ronnie's Garage in Santa Ana, Ca. Ronnie is a prince among men when it comes to Rolls and Bently automobiles. He knows them inside out, backwards and forward. You never pay for fixes that aren't really problems. This car has had things taken care of taken care of and taken care of right every year.Ronny even modified the power windows so they go up and down quickly. The alternator was replaced. The hydraulics spheres have beeen replaced. Year before last was time for new tires.Last year the brakes were given a major renewal with rotors and pads. The dash had a couple of raised spots so it was refinished by Madera Concepts in Goleta, Ca. The silver part of the car became harder and harder to shine so three yeas ago it was redone with new hand painted pin strips. This car is a two owner car. It has had an easy life. It is a preserved car, not a restored car. It's beautiful on the outside. It's beautiful on the inside and it runs beautifully on the road. It gets attention everywhere we go with it. The only reason for selling it is we bought a 58 Hatteras LRC and are going cruising for the forseeable future. If you want the best of the best for less than the cost of a new Honda take a hard look at this car. You won't regret it. |

Rolls-Royce rolls out special Al-Adiyat edition in the Middle East
Fri, Feb 27 2015Rolls-Royce regularly makes special editions for one market or another. And lets face it: most of them are in the Middle East, or more specifically along the Persian Gulf. But their names don't always translate well to English, even for an English automaker. The last one, for example, was characterized as a Mysore. And this latest one is for Adiyats. Al-Adiyat is actually what this latest special run of Rolls-Royces are called, taking its name from the Arabic word describing the sound hoofs make when they hit the ground. It's a limited edition of just ten coupes, including nine Wraiths and the one and only Phantom Coupe you see here. The collection takes its inspiration from horses, "with motifs of reigns and horses, while gold-plated horseshoe stamps make a striking statement upon the clock and treadplates." The look is completed (on the Phantom at least) with a bright red paintjob that continues inside with red leather, carpets and headliner. In short, it's not for subtle tastes, but we don't doubt that Rolls will sell each and every one, assuming it hasn't already.
2016 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance: It's all in the details
Mon, Aug 22 2016It's no secret that Pebble Beach is an ode to gorgeous, and mostly, classic cars. The car show may be a place for automakers to showcase extremely expensive cars to wealthy buyers, but it's also one of the go-to places for enthusiasts that love automobiles and culture. While it's easy to be overwhelmed by the overall beauty of a car, the real magic often needs closer inspection to be realized. Every car at Pebble Beach is a work of art, but the true beauty of the vehicles lies in the details. And Autoblog's photographer, Drew Phillips, managed to capture the details on some gorgeous cars. From the Lamborghini Miura's exquisite steering wheel to Rolls-Royce's Spirit of Ecstasy, it's all at Pebble Beach. We think the details on some of the cars are prettier than the cars themselves, but don't take our word for it. Check out the beautiful gallery above and enjoy the tiny bits and pieces behind some of the prettiest cars in the world. Rolls-Royce looks to the heavens with diamond-encrusted Celestial Phantom
Wed, 06 Nov 2013The Middle East is a vital market for Rolls-Royce, particularly in the Gulf emirates. So the British automaker wouldn't let the region's premier auto show go by unnoticed, and to that end has rolled into the Dubai Motor Show with an array of special editions.
Chief among them is the Celestial edition Phantom, a customized limousine that initially debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show but has returned to Dubai with the addition of 446 diamonds hand-set into the door panels, center console and cabin privacy partition. Taking the spirit of the Phantom's trademark starlight headliner even further, the Celestial edition reproduces overhead the constellations exactly as they were on the evening of January 1, 2003, when Rolls-Royce delivered the first Phantom to its owner, as verified by the South Downs Planetarium in Chichester, England.
The Bespoke division also fitted the Celestial Phantom with inky blue leather, special glassware and a custom picnic set. The wheel hubs are also engraved and the Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament uplit, demonstrating just a few of the possibilities awaiting those with the means not only to buy a new Rolls-Royce, but also commission special features from the Bespoke department.
