Rolls Royce

I'm  putting up for sale this awesome 1973 silver shadow ROLLS ROYCE, it is a two tone, blue and green, it is hard to visualize in pictures the beauty of the bodywork, it is almost in mint condition. The car’s got a clean title and it was registered in California in 2011, that makes me assum that the last owner did’nt register this car in 2012 and 2013 regardless of that he did somework in it. Everything work in the car like gauges of fog, lights, power seats and Windows.

The dasboard is in very good shape, no cracks. I have driven this car for up to 60 miles and it runs great.

Seat covers, the original,  are in leather with few cracks

this car need to be driven for better performance, not a good idea keep the without use for a long period of time

Besides that it’s an espectacular car, moldings, grill, emblems are complete, tires with 90% brand Goodyear, it?s got some tools in the trunk, manual not from the car but related toit.

in 2 of the strips of wood Gates has minimal details that can be restored. The car has comes with several original documents date in 1973 and bring cds with service manuals

Odometer reads 90,360 miles and seem to be original, one more thing, has not been crash, you can see that in the doors, trunk Hood, everything is original. I’m selling it because i have some other projects and also my family has ground and my prioriry have change.

The winning bider must deposit 500 dollars at the end of auction and the balance in a maximun of 7 days

Good luck to bidders

Rolls-Royce debuts Phantom Drophead Coupe Waterspeed Collection

Tue, 13 May 2014

For the next act in its Bespoke Collection, Rolls-Royce has found one of its own to celebrate with the Phantom Drophead Coupé Waterspeed Collection, noting the achievements of British land and water record-holder Sir Malcolm Campbell. Like a few other racers of his era in the 1920s and 1930s, Campbell used his Bluebird Motor Company and Bluebird Garage to fund his interest in motorsports. He would break the waterspeed record in 1937 in his Bluebird K3 powered by a Rolls-Royce R engine, traveling 126.33 miles per hour on Italy's Lake Maggiore.
We've seen sketches of what Rolls-Royce intended with the Waterspeed Collection, and the real thing is just as handsome, and the new model includes a number of firsts for the marque. The Maggiore Blue exterior paint is also used for highlights on the engine, the polished wheels, two-tone steering wheel and the dashboard. The tonneau cover normally finished in teak is instead done in hand-finished brushed steel, a closer contrast to the Windchill Grey interior. The Abachi wood veneers have also been bookmatched so that their grain evokes the wake of a speeding boat.
The droptop will be shown first at the Bluebird Garage Cafe in London on the site of the original garage, after which it will get its first wider showing at the Concorso D'Eleganza at Villa D'Este later this month. The press release below has a lot more detail on the finer detailing of the Drophead Coupe Waterspeed, and the images above are worth at least 8,000 words.

Ventilator built with help from Rolls-Royce receives approval in UK

Thu, Apr 16 2020

LONDON — Britain has given the first regulatory approval to a ventilator being built by a consortium of firms including Airbus and Rolls-Royce as part of efforts to combat the coronavirus. Governments around the world are trying to boost the number of ventilators — mechanical breathing devices that can blow air and oxygen into the lungs — available to their health services. The modified version of an existing device by Penlon will join a product from fellow medical firm Smiths, which is already being built by the group of aerospace, engineering, Formula One and automotive companies to fulfill a government order. “We are working closely with our supply chain partners to rapidly scale up production to achieve our target of at least 1,500 units a week,” said Dick Elsy, the chief executive of the VentilatorChallengeUK consortium. The government said on Thursday it was confirming an order for 15,000 Penlon devices. AirbusÂ’ Broughton site, which makes wings for commercial aircraft, along with FordÂ’s Dagenham engine factory and McLarenÂ’s Woking site are being used as part of the process, he said. Separately, vacuum-cleaner firm Dyson is still awaiting approval for its ventilator. Related Video:

Rolls-Royce bringing art deco-inspired cars to Paris, celebrates with posters

Thu, 20 Sep 2012

Rolls-Royce announced that it will be bringing some "art-deco inspired" cars to the 2012 Paris Motor Show, and while we really have no clue what that means just yet, we're sure the cars are going to be very expensive.
The images show what appears to be a stylized Rolls-Royce Phantom or Ghost in an artistic rendering that would look at home in South Beach. Like the cars, Rolls-Royce is going all out with the launch of these special cars with an invitation-only introduction including a champagne reception.
We only have to wait until next week to see what features and styling changes Rolls-Royce has in store for these new bespoke models, but for now, enjoy this trio of art deco goodness and check out the press release below.
