Celebrity Auto Group and its representatives have made every effort to accurately and fairly describe the vehicle to you and disclose any known information regarding the vehicle. We will never describe a car as "perfect" and the buyer should have expectations of "typical" dings and or chips and scratches that are consistent with the year and mileage on the vehicle. Buyers are provided with all additional items that were provided to us with the vehicle. Buyers are to expect that NOT all used vehicles will be provided with full sets of keys, books, CD magazines, Navigation Discs, floor mats or the like, NOR will all cars be accompanied by detailed service records etc. Celebrity Auto Group will not be held responsible to provide any additional items other than represented as with the car unless detailed in writing by an authorized representative. Celebrity Auto Group welcomes an independent inspection of the vehicle prior to purchase. All costs and arrangements for such inspections are the responsibility of the buyer. All inspections are to be performed on the premises at Celebrity Auto Group showroom or at a local shop in Sarasota, FL. Celebrity Auto Group will review any issues or concerns that develop as a result of an inspection and will make repairs, adjustments or concessions at their sole discretion.

Shipping Information
Celebrity Auto Group will be happy to assist the buyer with transportation arrangements within the Continental US when necessary to take advantage of our volume discounts. The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges and are generally paid COD when the car arrives directly to the transporter. Celebrity Auto Group assumes no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our premises. Celebrity Auto Group cannot be held responsible for any delays in shipping as it is beyond our control. We will do our best in estimating shipping dates and times to make the delivery as timely and smooth as possible. Celebrity Auto Group will NOT handle any arrangements for export outside the US. It is the purchaser’s sole responsibility to handle all related details and transport of any vehicle to be exported. Celebrity Auto Group in no way represents or implies as to any vehicles legal ability to be exported outside of the US. Should you decide to come to Sarasota for delivery, we would be happy to help with your transportation arrangements and also arrange to pick you up at Sarasota International Airport.
Terms of Sale
PAYMENT METHODS: Bank to Bank transfers are the only acceptable form of payment unless otherwise specified by an authorized representative. Please contact us for details of finance and lease programs available and to apply. Please have all funds available for payment in full within a 7 day period and/or have financing arranged . If another form of payment is accepted by an authorized representative, the vehicle will only be released for delivery and/or shipping upon proof of valid and cleared funds in the Celebrity Auto Group account. DEPOSITS: All vehicles remain available for sale until full payment or an agreed upon deposit is received by Celebrity Auto Group. When a deposit is received, the vehicle is taken off the market and other buyers may be lost. All deposits are only refundable at the seller’s discretion. Please do not place a deposit on any vehicle unless you intend to purchase the car. Deposits are generally only accepted if the seller deems it appropriate for the buyer to have additional time to arrange for funds availability, financing, inspection etc. We do not accept deposits to hold a car so the buyer can "think about it". REMAINING BALANCES DUE: The buyer agrees to pay the remaining balance due including all applicable taxes and fees within 7 days of the purchase date. This includes the completion of any finance or lease contracts necessary for Celebrity Auto Group to be funded in full for the vehicle purchase unless agreed upon by an authorized representative. All financial transactions are to be complete and Celebrity Auto Group fully funded before delivery and/or transportation of the vehicle. ADDITIONAL TAXES AND FEES: We do charge a $499.00 documentation fee on each retail sale which includes a temporary tag when applicable, motor vehicle documents, transfers and miscellaneous expenses including clerical fees, notary fees, UPS and US mail charges. This fee will not be discounted or waived under any circumstance. Buyers are responsible for all state, county and local taxes as well as any registration and title fees applicable in and required by the state in which the buyer will register and title the vehicle. This week, we're going to the opposite end of the political spectrum, looking at what history's mad men drove throughout their repressive and violent regimes. These dictators were absolutely powerful, and absolutely corrupt. More nightmares for their people than rulers, their iron-fisted control gave them the ability to satisfy any wild desire with nearly limitless funds. While they all splurged on luxury goods, cars were a particular passion of many dictators. Cars make a powerful statement to the public about wealth, status and control. It's how you are presented at ground level to your adoring masses or mortal enemies. A custom luxury car with plenty of armor plating reinforced the specialness and "otherness" of the ruler to friend and foe alike. Muammar Gaddafi, Libya, 1969 - 2011 Lybia's President for Life Muammar Gaddafi fancied himself not just a car enthusiast, but a car designer for the masses as well. He supposedly designed a car called the "Saroukh el-Jamahiriya" or Libyan Rocket. It had a 230-horsepower V6 and the nose and tail of a rocket. He was trying to produce a safer car. When he wasn't designing his own cars, Gaddafi was ordering up custom rides, large and small. Besides a heavily armored BMW 7 Series and a Mercedes S-Class stretch limo, Gaddafi had this custom Fiat built at a cost of $260,000. The gold in the trim is real gold (of course) and comes with some touches that are pure Gaddafi. For instance, the Fiat badge was replaced with an outline of the continent of Africa, with Libya cut out in green. Back in April, Rolls-Royce put out a call to action to kids around the world. The British luxury carmaker wanted to see children design their dream Rolls-Royce of the future. The motivation for doing so? Winners get to enjoy a chauffeur-driven ride to school in a Rolls-Royce with a friend of their choice. Not a bad prize for a kid who is obsessed with cars. It’s been a few months now, and Rolls-Royce has selected a number of winners. Rolls-Royce ended up slotting all the entries into four categories: Technology, Environment, Fantasy and Fun. That means there are four winners, but three other ideas were so good that Rolls gave them “Highly Commended” awards. Rolls-Royce said it received submissions that were inspired by unicorns, space travel, bumblebees, Pablo Picasso and the Egyption pyramids. After selecting all the winners and “highly commended” entries, Rolls-Royce had its design team transform the drawings into digitally-rendered illustrations. They used the same software and processes that theyÂ’d use when working on an actual Rolls-Royce design. Boxing fans and Rolls-Royce fans, get your wallets ready. A very special car is going to cross the Bonhams auction block this October. It's a 1970 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow Mulliner Park Ward convertible that was owned by none other than Muhammad Ali, the boxer that ended George Foreman's undefeated streak. Bonhams reports that the car was owned by Ali for 6 years, meaning Ali must've enjoyed this car and used it quite a bit. The company postulates that since Ali bought the car in 1970, it may have been a celebratory purchase, since that was the first year Ali could box again after a five-year ban from the sport for being a conscientious objector during the Vietnam War. The car itself has a number of notable features. For one thing, Bonhams says the car is completely unrestored, and is in quite good condition as such. It also is apparently one of just 272 Silver Shadow Mulliner Park Wards that were built with left-hand drive. It ended up in Holland after Ali's tenure with it, which is partly why it will go for auction at a Bonhams auction in Belgium. Also interesting is that this is a celebrity car – a nice one, too – that is in the realm of affordability. Bonhams estimates it could sell for between $47,000 and $70,000. The low end of that price is actually a couple grand less than Hagerty's estimate of $49,200 for a concours-ready example without celebrity history. And even at the high end, you'll still be paying way less for this than, say, a new Rolls-Royce Ghost. So if you can get yourself to Holland and have the means to buy and ship the car, this could be a way to get a great celebrity car for not a massive amount of money.
