2012 Ram 2500 Cummins Turbo Diesel 4x4 17,xxx Miles 20" XD Badlands Wheels 35x12.50 Nitto Trail Grappler tires 2'' Hell Bent Steel Leveling kit(aligned after installation) S&B Cold Air Intake Bushwaker Extended fender flares Full Length Stainless Tube Step Bars Tinted Windows I purchased this truck NEW in March of 2012 and it has been a great vehicle. It's the 5th Cummins truck I've owned and it's been by far my favorite but I'm downing sizing in vehicles due to not needed a 3/4 Diesel anymore. The truck is in EXCELLENT shape and it has been well maintained. At 17k miles it's only on it's second oil change! All service has been done at the dealer. The truck also has the FULL 100k mile bumper to bumper warranty that I paid extra for @ the time of purchase. This is not one of the cheap non-manufacture warranties. It's the extended factory warranty. The truck has never been off road as you can see from the pictures. The truck has only seen road salt ONCE and it shows. The truck was used to pull my 27' Powerboat and not driven much at all besides that. The truck drives and performs excellent and will NOT disappoint. Still have the sticker and all paperwork from original purchase and it retailed for over $46k w/ out any of the extras I've installed which would be another $3500+ The truck has NEVER had any performance modifications to void the warranty, if you look at a "deleted" truck and it's advertised as having a power train warranty remaining it DOESN'T, even if you take it back to stock anything you install/tune in the ecm will leave a footprint. I guarantee this truck to have all warranty remaining. Exterior- 9.8/10 Interior- 9.9/10 Drive train- 10/10 Glass- 10/10 Wheels- 8/10 (MINOR flaking on two wheels, chrome shines like new & have extra center caps for the wheels) Tires- 7/10 (One tire has <500 miles and the other 3 have approx 10k miles on them, TPMS are NOT installed and dash light stays on) Please feel free to contact me with anymore questions. I will take wheels and tires off for less $$$ and replace with stock style chrome wheels. I WILL trade down to a GMC/Chevy QUAD Cab 4x4 truck. It must be that brand/style! Don't ask if you don't have those! The truck is listed for sale locally so I reserve the right to end early. Feel free to call me @ (859) 612-7five9six Thanks for looking! |

Ram 1500 bests new F-150 in MT pickup shootout
Tue, Nov 25 2014Ford's 2015 Ford F-150 is a technological tour-de-force, what with its aluminum-intensive construction and its powerful and efficient new 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine option. But now that it's hit the market, it's time to get down to brass tacks and find out how just the latest F-150 actually stands up to its rivals in the hyper-competitive fullsize segment. Motor Trend is among the first to round up the Ford (in Lariat 2.7-liter 4X4 guise here) and put it up against the Ram 1500 Outdoorsman EcoDiesel 4x4 and 5.3-liter-equipped Silverado 1500 LTZ Z71 to find out how Dearborn's new-think truck measures up. The test put the trio through over 1,000 miles of tough driving in California and Arizona in a variety of conditions from just cruising around unladen to hauling a trailer. MT found all three trucks to be competent, but the most praise got heaped on the Ram and the Ford, with the Chevrolet falling a step behind its competitors in many tests. Among the Ford's most-liked features was its 2.7-liter, twin-turbo V6 that helped make the F-150 easily the quickest of the group, with some editors saying the engine felt about the same whether driving around with cargo in the bed or not. There was some minor turbo lag during acceleration while trailering, but that issue affected the Ram, too. The Ram's powertrain was lauded, as well. The EcoDiesel was torquey around town, and the 1500's combination of an eight-speed automatic and air suspension was judged to be the best of the lot. It was the most difficult to get into the bed, though. The Ram also won the fuel economy award by netting 20-miles-per-gallon city and 28-mpg highway in the test to beat its Environmental Protection Agency ratings of 19/27. The Ford's EcoBoost managed 17/22, one mpg off each from the EPA numbers, and using a lot of throttle really depleted its efficiency. As MT notes, however, it would take time for the diesel's mileage savings to pay off at the pump for these two trucks. In the end, the Ram just barely eked out the win, with the title partially earned because of "the Ford's unknown maintenance and aluminum repair costs," according to MT. Ram 1500 diesel overlander, off-road Jeep Wrangler show present and future of Mopar
Wed, Oct 30 2019Ram and Jeep both have some heavily customized off-roaders for SEMA this year. The Ram is a 2020 1500 Rebel with the diesel engine and an overlanding theme, and the Jeep is a 2020 Wrangler Unlimited with a general off-road theme. Each features loads of Mopar accessories, and, in the case of the Ram, accessories from other companies. They both have a few parts that haven't made it to market yet. 2020 Ram 1500 Rebel View 16 Photos 2020 Ram 1500 Rebel OTG The Ram 1500 has the suffix of OTG, which stands for off-the-grid. It's designed to be an overlanding vehicle perfect for getting you far away from civilization and still have your needs taken care of. As such, the new EcoDiesel with its strong fuel economy and large amounts of torque is a good engine choice, and the Rebel has plenty of rugged style to begin with. That style is augmented by some special concept Mopar parts such as a high-flow grille complete with flow-through Ram block letters, a la the Chevy "Flow Tie," and steel bumper with a retro-fitted Power Wagon winch. Another concept part is the intake snorkel. Dodge also dug into the existing catalog of Ram parts and added the base Tradesman's vinyl flooring for easy interior cleaning, as well as the Tradesman's rear bumper that doesn't have cut-outs for exhaust. The exhaust was then tucked away behind the bumper, giving the truck a better departure angle. Many ready-to-purchase accessories have been added to the Ram 1500 OTG, too. From the Mopar catalog comes off-road lights, rock rails, wheels and bolt-on fender flares. The utility rack, basket and tent all came from Yakima. A roof-mounted solar array along with sliding cooking areas and bed-mounted cooler all come from Dometic. A representative from Dodge also showed how the split tailgate can be used as an easily accesible place to have fold out cooking or table space. 2020-jeep-wrangler-mopar-accessories-01 View 4 Photos 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited While the Ram has parts from all around the aftermarket world, the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited has been outfitted entirely with Mopar parts. And most of those parts are already available, with two exceptions. On one side of the truck, Jeep is showing off some concept mesh covers for its tube-doors. The idea behind them is that they still allow for plenty of air flow, but help keep shrubbery, mud clods and other things from getting in. They're also simple to install or remove, since the slide on and zip up.
2019 Ram 1500 spy shots further hint at a trick tailgate for the Chicago Auto Show
Mon, Feb 4 2019It seems all but guaranteed that the 2019 Ram 1500 is going to get some kind of fancy tailgate for the 1500. The latest evidence comes from our spy shooters who just caught an extremely suspicious truck running around with the whole bed and tailgate area covered. Everything other than the bed is ours to see, so Ram is obviously trying to hide something out back. We reported this morning about some Twitter shenanigans between Ram and GMC during the Super Bowl last night. The back and forth between the two companies resulted in Ram hinting that we'll see something new at the Chicago Auto Show this Thursday. Here's the Tweet thread below: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. In dissecting these spy shots, there isn't a whole lot to tear apart. We've got a normal Ram 1500 with a secret or two in the rear. As we zoom into the small patch of white we see through the camouflage, the normal outline of a recessed handle is somewhat visible. It's hard to determine exactly what is under there, because the recessed area is black and doesn't define itself next to the black camouflage. We can say there might be a grab handle in the normal spot you'd find one. There seem to be countless forms for this tailgate to take shape in. Spy photos of a Ram over a year ago with a strange 60/40 split caught our eyes that would probably have the option of opening in a barn-door style. Fiat-Chrysler has experience with split tailgates with its foreign-market Fiat Toro pickup, plus the company filed a patent on split tailgates a few years ago. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. A split design is most likely, but if we let the speculative parts of our brains run amok, we could even see a swing-out style tailgate similar to the Honda Ridgeline as possible. A major benefit to Ridgeline's swinging tailgate is easy access to the bed itself, as well as the in-bed trunk. None of the competition has such a useful area under the bed. But it would be hard to see Ram introducing its own trunk, especially when it offers the RamBox bedside storage system. Still, speculation can run wild on this one. The nice part about this mystery is that we won't have to wait long for the solution, since Ram has indicated it'll be solved at the Chicago Auto Show. We'll be on the ground there to try out whatever new-fangled tailgate Ram has to offer. Related video:
