2013 Porsche Cayenne on 2040-cars
Newark, Maryland, United States
This is the best car I have ever owned and is extremely clean. Even keep a towel on the dead pedal to keep the dirt
away. The pics should speak to the condition. Handles like a sports car and get's 32 MPG at 75 mph. With the 26
gallon tank, has almost 700 miles of range. At 55 mph you can get over 35.
Features the Premium Plus Package ($10,180 option) and Bose Audio Package ($2,160 option). Seats are heated and
cooled and are 14 way.
The transmission is an 8 Speed Tiptronic. Full Bluetooth functionality with Satellite Radio and Navigation. Also
has the towing package.
This car is built like a bank vault; is very tight and doesn't have any rattles, squeaks or the like. Has only been
to the dealer and detail shop.
Car has just been paid off. Lien release title should be available in 7 days.
Have a new car fax report as well and will provide upon request. Car is under factory warranty. I assume that
transfers to the new owner. I'm not guaranteeing this.
I'm downsizing and therefore selling.

Petrolicious studies the purity of a Porsche 911 2.7 RS
Thu, 17 Oct 2013Water-cooled Porsches are superior to the old, air-cooled models. This really isn't up for debate, despite the mob of Porsche purists, with pitchforks and torches in hand, currently descending on the Autoblog offices. Water-cooled models are more powerful and easier to live with, two factors that make modern Porsches just so darn amazing.
And while we won't hear arguments on anything we've written above, we will say that the old air-cooled models, while not superior, are just, somehow, better. They sound better - a lot better. They're simple, elemental and wildly entertaining things, that just beg for more and more. They rev in a way that forces drivers to work to unlock their power, rather than just push their right foot down. Part of the appeal of air-cooled Porsches, in addition to what we just listed, are the gorgeous cars they're slotted into, like the subject of the latest video from Petrolicious.
Starring a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 RS, this video is a bit shorter than recent ones, but it's no less exciting. This 911, complete with it's sweet-sounding exhaust is the kind of simple, entertaining thing we can watch over and over. Scroll down for the full video.
Porsche's former CEO Wiedeking to stand trial over VW-share manipulation
Wed, 27 Aug 2014Former Porsche CEO Wendelin Wiedeking (left in the above photo) could potentially be facing some time in the slammer after all. The last we had heard, he and former Chief Financial Officer Holger Haerter (right) had avoided a trial in April due to a lack of evidence. However, an appeals court in Stuttgart has looked at the case again and overruled the earlier decision, finding that the executives should be tried for share manipulation during Porsche's failed attempt to take over Volkswagen in 2008, Bloomberg reports.
The judges in the appeal "list numerous indications that could suggest that there was a hidden decision to increase the stake as they could suggest the opposite evaluation by the lower court," said Stefan Schueler, a spokesperson for the court, in a statement cited by Bloomberg. Wiedeking and Haerter put out their own releases saying that there was no merit to the charges.
The prosecutors allege that Wiedeking and Haerter had a plan to buy up VW stock options in 2008 to take the automotive giant over but hid it from investors. The whole thing was a massive failure and eventually allowed VW the chance to acquire Porsche and forced the two execs to step down. In addition to the criminal investigation, hedge funds have attempted to sue the company multiple times in civil court for the same reason, but they have repeatedly failed.
