This car is a two owner car that was purchased a little over three years ago (September 2010). The car is daily driven and currently on 19" Champion RG5 wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sports (less than 1,000 miles). I have the clean & clear title in hand. The car was purchased from a local dealer and has always been in Texas. The same Porsche certified mechanic has worked on the car since purchase, including installation of the turbo kit and most other modifications. All records for maintenance and modifications have been retained since my ownership. Two remote keys are included, as well as the Certificate of Authenticity. Extra stock parts included with the car: Stone grey steering wheel, black seat belts, second set of 19" Carrera Sport wheels with 50% Hankook Ventus K12 tires (245/35/19 and 275/35/19) and spacer kit, extra Champion RG5 wheels (3) for spares, boxster/996 spare tire kit for road trips, extra set of stone grey floor mats. Although the car has been extensively modified, it has not seen any track time. In full disclosure, the front bumper has been resprayed, there is a 1 cm "dimple" on the driver's side rear fender and a couple of rock chips from normal driving. I can provide recently taken pictures upon request. 2008 Porsche Cayman S w/ approximately 27,269 miles (daily driven, so will vary) Basalt Black/Stone Grey 6 speed manual 19" Carrera Sport wheels Sports Chrono Package Bi-xenon headlights Bose Surround Sound Floor mats interior color Center console painted to match exterior color Auto climate control Self dim mirror and rain sensing wipers Full red tailights Modifications: TPC Racing Intercooled Turbo Kit(460HP kit) Bilstein PSS9 coilovers DCT Motorsports steering wheel covered in Stone Grey (OEM non-sport wheel included) Porsche OEM Short Shift Kit (recently installed) LED Spars for front foglight area (OEM spars included) 7mm & 15mm spacers in front and rear with extended lug bolts GT3 vent kit with functional airflow to the radiator RSS rear toe links RSS sway bars and Anze drop links OEM Red deviated seat belts If you need anything more specific please feel free to ask. |

Aston Martin renames Vantage GT3 after Porsche throws hissy fit
Mon, Mar 23 2015Porsche has a long history of using the name "GT3" for its hardcore, naturally aspirated 911 models, and that means it's certainly not going to share it with the likes of Aston Martin. See, it seems the arrival of the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show didn't sit well with Stuttgart, which opted to lawyer up. According to Goodwood Road and Racing, attorneys from both sides of the Channel have been in discussion for months over the issue, with Porsche arguing it's been using the GT3 name since 1999, and that makes it theirs. Aston, though, argues that the FIA GT3 racing series makes the name fair game for road cars. Moreover, the Brits point out that the alphanumeric was in use well before Porsche got its mitts on it – GRR rightly points out the Lotus Esprit GT3 hit the streets three years before the 996 GT3. And while we're on the subject, Bentley has its own GT3, but we're guessing its status as one of Porsche's siblings means its immune to this kind of squabbling. Rather than getting into a knock-down, drag-out courtroom brawl with one of the Volkswagen Group's prized brands, though, Aston has taken the high road. The company will rechristen both the road-going Vantage GT3 and Vantage racer as the GT12. While Porsche is no stranger to aggressively protecting what it views as its closely held vehicle names, we have to admit, it seems like Aston actually has something of a case. Do you think the Brits were right to settle and change the Vantage's name, or should they have taken the fight to Porsche? Have your say in Comments.
Ferraris, Porsches and planes star at McCall’s Motorworks Revival
Thu, Aug 17 2017MONTEREY, Calif. – McCall's Motorworks Revival, sometimes called The Jet Party, kicked off vintage car week here as enthusiasts streamed into the region for days of car shows, official automaker events and hob-knobbing leading up to Sunday's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Held at the Monterey Jet Center, the revival featured an array of exotic and classic cars blended in with planes, racecars, motorcycles and luxury items like jewelry. This year the eclectic lineup of cars included vintage Ferraris and Porsches, a raised 1964 Chevy Impala, a classic Toyota Land Cruiser and a Cobra. The 1960s Ford GT40 racecar sat near the modern Ford GT, while Camilo Pardo, the designer of the in-between generation (2004-06), held court nearby. Iconic planes like the B25, P51 and an ancient biplane were intermingled with the flashy cars. Show-goers tipped drinks, tossed back heavy hors d'oeuvres and desserts, ogled the seemingly random collection of amazing machines and prepared for days of celebrating the automobile on the Monterey Peninsula. The revival is in its 26th year and is put on by McCall Events, whose owner Gordon McCall is a class judge at the concours and the cofounder another Monterey car week staple, the Quail. The revival also collects donations for a California police charity. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
