This is a beautiful GTS Tiptronic that I purchased in September from Brumos Porsche in Jacksonville.  It came with a Certified Pre Owned Warranty through 10.31.2014.  The car has never been in an accident, had paint work, and is in outstanding condition.  All options including sunroof, Bose, Navigation, XM Radio, Alacantra leather headliner, etc.

The only reason I am selling is because I made in impulsive purchase and did not focus on the fact that this vehicle has limited seating.  I need to carry more than 4 adult passengers for work, and adding the 5th becomes a little cramped.  I just purchased a Denali from a private party, so I want to sell the GTS.

Brumos had the 40k mile major scheduled service done at 36k miles.  I just had it to Braman Porsche Palm Beach about 7 weeks ago to replace the battery, rear brakes and rotors and a sythetic oil change.  All service records are available.

The fronts will need new tires in about 6-8 months.

This is an awesome vehicle, and the 2 year warranty is a must on any pre-owned German vehicle.  It gives that peace of mind knowing that if anything goes wrong, you have the full backing of Porsche, including loaner cars, etc.

Feel free to come by and take a test drive.  Located in Palm Beach Gardens or Jupiter, FL most days.

I paid $49k plus tax.  My loss is your gain.
This Cayenne was $89.6k new in 2008.

2015 Porsche Boxster GTS [w/video]

Thu, 22 May 2014

You know the sound: the startling pop-brraaap-pop-pop shotgun fire of unspent flammables coursing through exhaust pipes that usually signals a raw, naughty powerplant beneath the hood.
But when you're nestled in the Porsche Boxster GTS' snug seats, it's not a crackling small block V8 or a high-strung Italian flat crank making the devilish racket, but rather the new king of the Boxster/Cayman lineup, a 3.4-liter flat-six that produces 330 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque.
Within the emotional vacuum of a spec sheet, the Boxster GTS' pumped-up grunt seems pretty mild, with a gain of only 15 hp and 7 lb-ft, respectively. But the reworked acoustical experience goes a long way towards suggesting the GTS has a trace of racing blood in its veins, and might even be missing its catalytic converters. In addition to the sonorous, centrally positioned tailpipes, the cabin also fills with lovely mechanical strains thanks to the "Sound Symposer" acoustical amplifier that's trickled down into the Boxster/Cayman lineup from the 911 for the first time. Boxster S, we hardly knew ya.

Porsche stalls on Ferrari 458 rival

Mon, 17 Nov 2014

A few years ago, reports surfaced that Porsche was planning a new supercar. But the latest intel suggests that the plan has been put indefinitely on the back burner.
The project alternately referred to as 960 or 988 was put forth by CEO Matthias Müller shortly after he assumed control of the German automaker. It called for a mid-engined V8 supercar to slot in between the 911 and the 918 Spyder to take on the likes of the Ferrari 458 Italia, McLaren 650S and sister-company Lamborghini's Gallardo and subsequent Huracán.
Now three years since the idea was first mooted, the vehicle has yet to materialize. According to Autocar, Porsche is putting a greater emphasis on refreshing its existing lineup. Which is probably just as well, because the mid-engined supercar would have a heck of a challenge on its hands to differentiate itself in terms of performance from the 911 GT3 and 911 Turbo, which already give the 458 and company a run for their money.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS facing delay over GT3 fire problems?

Mon, 24 Mar 2014

Porsche has never been afraid to introduce variants of its cars. However, its even higher spec, next-generation 911 GT3 RS may be delayed from its planned launch this summer while the engines in the standard GT3s (pictured above) are replaced.
A delay isn't certain, but executives want to make sure the high-strung mill is no longer a problem before they press forward with another model using it. Germany's Auto Motor und Sport asked Porsche CEO Matthias Müller about pushing back the launch, and he responded that it was too early to say. The company's current focus is making sure the engines get fixed and working on internal measures to prevent this kind of flaw in the future.
When fires claimed two 911 GT3s in Europe, Porsche initially stopped the model's sales and asked owners to stop driving them. It finally diagnosed the blazes as being caused by a loose screw on a connecting rod, which then resulted in crankcase damage and an oil leak. The company is replacing the engines on all 785 affected cars. A source told Autoblog that under 200 customers were actually affected, and the other cars were either at port or dealer lots. Hopefully, the recall doesn't postpone the road-going GT3 RS too far because we want to see what Porsche has up its sleeve.
