If you have been looking for a gorgeous, low mile Porsche Boxster and would love to
have the very desireable sport "S" model then you are going to LOVE my 2001 Boxster S with only 29k original rust
free, accident free Florida miles! This Porsche has been serviced, garaged and babied it's whole life and it shows
inside and out. It has a clean Autocheck report showing no accidents or problems and it received a great score of 88
points out of an average rating of between 27-71 points so you know it has a clean history. It was actually was owned
by a friend of mines mother for the past five years and she purchased a two year service agreement and kept it up to
date. Being a true Florida car there is no rust and even the underside is still nice and clean. It is all original
right down to the factory silver Porsche paint. What a beautiful car in person as well as the pictures. The exterior
looks wonderful with a deep Porsche shine with no dents, scrapes, fade or rust. There are no stone chips on the front
and the headlights are clear as new. There is a light three inch scratch on the passenger door that has been touched
up and looks fine. The factory aluminum wheels shine like new with no corrosion or curb rash and the tires are
matching and have plenty of tread remaining left to help this Boxster handle and ride nice and tight. The factory
exhaust is still like new and it has the original dual chrome exhaust tips that look nice. The full power top is in
great shape as is the rear window (nice and clear) and it goes up and down with just the touch of a switch. Look
close at the pictures, it is every bit this nice in person. The interior is just as clean with no stains, rips or
odors and this is a non-smoker's car so it is very fresh inside. The leather seats are comfortable and soft and the
whole interior looks as close to new as possible, obviously well cared for and garaged. All the power options work
great including the ice cold air conditioning, full power top and 6-cd and cassette stereo. Now, what a fun car to
drive! The powerful 3.2 litre Boxster S 250hp engine runs smooth as silk and should with only 29k miles. It really
makes this car go and still delivers good gas mileage. It has the $3210 tiptronic automatic transmission but can be
manually shifted from the steering wheel if your in the mood, pretty fun. The brakes are powerful as expected in a
car like this and there are drilled rotors with red Porsche calipers for a sporty look. This car also has the $2870
Sport Touring package to further enhance the driving experience. The steering is nice and tight and it handles just
as it should with no shakes or rattles and is just plain fun to drive. And with only 29k miles it truly still feels
like a new car to drive. The only thing to mention is the turn signals don't turn off automatically after a turn. I have the factory window sticker showing this Porsche was $57200 new! Look it over good and
I am sure once you see and take it for a spin around the block you are sure to fall in love and being a true accident

Porsche was first rumored to be working on a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version of the Cayenne over a year ago. However, we had never seen it, until now. The new model was caught almost completely undisguised while testing. In another stroke of luck, we got a glimpse of the upcoming facelift for Porsche's SUV (pictured above) as well.
According to the spy shooter, it was windy during the cars' cold weather testing. The cover blew off of the facelifted Cayenne, and there was enough time to snap these pictures before it could be hidden again. The changes are all quite minor but jive with what we saw the last time it was spied. The rear still wears some cladding but is expected to be hiding lights similar to the Macan.
The second gallery shows off the upcoming Cayenne PHEV. It looks nearly identical to the standard model, except for the extra panel on the driver's side of the car that hides the electric port. One image even shows the car plugged in. The new version is expected to use the same supercharged 3.0-liter V6 and 9.4-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack with a combined 416 horsepower and 435 pound-feet of torque from the Panamera S E-Hybrid. We enjoyed the system when we tested it last year. It's rumored to debut on the SUV sometime this year.

James May needs money. He's out of work, has payments to make on his Ferrari, and has resorted to doing less than stellar work to make ends meet. He and his colleague Richard Hammond sold their motorcycles to raise some extra scratch, and now Captain Slow is selling his Porsche, too. Of course, with years of paychecks form Top Gear and other TV appearances, several books, and a weekly column in The Daily Telegraph, it's unlikely that May is worried about debtor's prison. Mostly because that doesn't exist in the UK anymore, but also because he's probably loaded. The vehicle in question is a 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera, complete with air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six. He became acquainted with the car in 2007 when he borrowed it from specialist Paul Devyea to record a Radio 4 documentary, and evidently fell in love, so he bought it. He even had it on air for a couple of specials for Top Gear and James May's Toy Stories. He loaned it to his dad for a while, but with his time on Top Gear now at an end, he's consigned it to Bonhams (the same house that handled his bike sale) to auction off at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed. Its pre-sale estimate is quoted at GBP28,000-34,000 ($44-53k), which would seem a bit low – especially considering its celebrity provenance and low 55,000 miles on the odometer. Bonhams specialist Sholto Gilbertson tells Autoblog that "the estimate placed on the car has been designed to attract interest and ultimately achieve a stronger price for Mr. May."

Porsche customers have no need to worry because the company has no intention of taking away driver control by introducing autonomous tech for its vehicles. "One wants to drive a Porsche by oneself," company CEO Oliver Blume told a German newspaper, Reuters reports. For the sports car maker, this is a sensible decision, as its owners are driving enthusiasts who desire an exciting experience behind the wheel. Blume also isn't a big fan of people using their phones in the car. "An iPhone belongs in your pocket, not on the road," he told the newspaper. While Blume doesn't like some cutting-edge automotive tech, he's no Luddite. The CEO eventually wants every Porsche to be available with a hybrid powertrain option, including the 911. A plug-in version of the famous sports coupe could be ready by 2018 and have a 31-mile EV range (presumably on the European cycle), according to Reuters. The evidence suggests that Porsche is very serious about electrifying the 911. A company exec admitted the automaker had PHEVs under discussion. Spy shots (above) already showed one testing that possibly had a charger on the passenger side rear fender. The 911 PHEV would also follow logically from Porsche's recent surge to electrify its models. The Panamera and Cayenne already offer plug-in versions, and the 918 Spyder proves the system can perform. Applying that battery knowledge to the 911 is a natural move, especially with the fully electric Mission E taking another technological step forward around 2020. Related Video:
